From Jenelle Kappe Photography... This was one of those engagement shoots where everything worked out perfectly. Agatha (the bride) really wanted to incorporate a horse in with her engagement session. It wasn't the easiest thing to find, but the amazing owners of the farm that we used were kind enough to allow us to use one of their "old salts" for the shoot. It was incredible. The weather men called for rain all afternoon, but it only rained for maybe 15 minutes during our shoot, which ended up being a blessing in disguise because it gave me this amazing natural light to work with. Eric and Agatha rented the vintage bike and hand-made the sign that held their wedding date numbers.

From the Bride... My inspiration was to have a "rustic" feel. I've always loved horses, and sunflowers were always my favorite flower growing up. My grandfather worked on a horse farm as a veterinarian, so I spent a lot of time on a farm. All the pictures we took were exactly what I've always envisioned in my head.
