Halloween is a tricky holiday. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good costume and have been known to eat my weight in pumpkin candy corns. But decorating for Halloween is often times a far cry from pretty. That is until we set out to craft an elegant take on this month’s festivities. We showcased all the goodies photographed by Rebecca Hansen on SMP at Home this last Sunday. But if you missed it you can catch up with this glamorous approach to the Halloween Party here with the inspiration, the DIYs folded into the mix and the Dinner Party as well as in the full gallery.
As a part of our all white cocktail table, we crafted the most delicious Fall inspired sipper. It’s an easy mix of apple cider and champagne and the result is crazy good. The kind of crazy good that had us eying up those beauties in-between takes. This is a definite add into the cocktail rotation.

Champagne or Sparkling Wine
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Coarse Sugar or Cinnamon
1. Combine Pumpkin Pie Spice and Coarse Sugar in a shallow bowl. (We replaced sugar with coarse ground cinnamon). In another shallow bowl pour a bit of the apple cider
2. To rim glasses, first dip the glass rim in the apple cider then dip into the spice mixture
3. Finally, fill each flute with a mixture of 3/4 champagne to 1/4 cider and voila! Sparkling Champagne Cider for you and your guests to enjoy.
