Rustic, simple, personal and charming are all in the vocabulary of this ah-mazing wedding at the Ravine Vineyard in Saint Davids and it is easy to see how these are such perfect words for the occasion. Not only are the images from A Simple Photograph utterly and fantastically breathtaking, but what has me truly in awe are the customized exclamation flags - made by the wedding guests - that surprised these two newlyweds at the entrance to their very own reception at Benchmark with jovial congratulations and well wishes. From A Simple Photograph... This Montreal couple decided to host their intimate wedding in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The ceremony was held at the rustic and elegant Ravine Vineyard in Saint Davids, followed by a boisterous reception at Niagara College's Benchmark Restaurant. The couple arrived at the reception and were surprised to be greeted by all of their guests, who had lined the entrance and were waving colorful flags clapping and cheering for them. The guests had passed the time they spent waiting by writing personal messages on the backs of the flags, such as, "It's about time" and, "J'ai faim!" Once the group was seated, dinner service began immediately, but the couple wasn't able to enjoy there gourmet fare for long, as each guest was provided with a noise maker that they exuberantly blew to encourage the bride and groom to kiss when ever they tried to take a moment to eat or if they stepped apart from each other for a moment. The party continued as the guests were encouraged to play games and a few speeches were made! It may have been an intimate group, but you would have never known by the overwhelming sounds of cheer and laughter coming from the dinning room!
