The palette of this stunning wedding by Esther Sun Photography makes my heart palpitate like never before. It’s pastel perfection, if I do say so myself, with a giraffe thrown in for good measure – and that ultimately leads to one favorite-worthy feature. You feel that grin forming on your face? Don’t worry, it’s just a standard reaction to a party this pretty. See it all right here!
From Esther Sun Photography… Kelly and Paul met while working at The Lovaas Institute. Kelly first took notice of Paul during a clinic meeting, where he showed his amazing pretend play skills when he rescued Mr. Potato Head from a burning building (that was actually a plastic refrigerator). Paul’s ability to make any child laugh really melted Kelly’s heart! With her thesis defense date quickly approaching, Kelly spent all her weekends either on campus or in front of the computer. On a random Sunday morning, Paul suggested going to The Huntington Library just because “it was a beautiful day.” Kelly thought it was weird hearing Paul suggest going to a botanical garden with such enthusiasm, so she decided to take the offer and use it as a nice opportunity for procrastination. Little did she know that Paul had other plans in mind! The place could not have been more perfect! The Japanese Garden was empty, and right there at the Koi pond, Paul popped the question. Of course, Kelly said yes!
