There are a million and one things that I absolutely adore about weddings, but right at the tippity top of my list of loves are creative brides. And this lovely lady has truly knocked my socks off with the bajillion beautiful DIY ways she made her wedding day at Muskoka Bay Club charmingly personal. The invitations alone would have made me weak in the knees, but when you add in the bouquets, candy bar, and the adorable signs? Swoon-to-the-max. DIY Muskoka Bay Club Wedding from A Simple Photograph
There are a million and one things that I absolutely adore about weddings, but right at the tippity top of my list of loves are creative brides. And this lovely lady has truly knocked my socks off wit...
From A Simple Photograph... Kara knew the exact look and feel she wanted for her and Ryan's Muskoka event. She also knew that she was the best person for making the vision happen, so she rolled up her sleeves and got to work! With only her guests enjoyment in mind, Kara DIYed almost EVERY detail — and no detail was overlooked! Kara created all of the floral centerpieces (including the custom wooden boxes with their initials carved on them — so cute!) and the candy bar, including home-baked cupcakes in both the groom's and bride's favorite flavors. She tied her own bouquet and the grooms boutonnières and included a vintage locket belong to her grandmother, she created the string art table numbers, she very creatively used MS WORD (I can't believe it!) to create the most elegant invitations and menus, she custom-made chalk board signage, photo strings and golf cart decorations, and she even did her own hair and makeup! The overall effect was breathtaking.
