One awesome thing about kids’ parties, besides all the adorable littles running around, is that the sky is the limit as far as themes. Who says you have to stop at Disney themed fetes? Take a note from My Little Jedi and plan an art inspired shindig. This cutie is awash with every color of the Pantone rainbow and a dessert spread by Sweet Bloom Cakes that would get the Amy Atlas seal of approval. Macarons and painterly details a plenty – that my friends, is genius through and through. Check out the full gallery by Kat Cvet Photography for so much more.
From My Little Jedi… We had an amazing day celebrating the third birthday of my sweet little boy Aniken. When I asked Aniken what colors he would like for his birthday he answered, “All the colors of the rainbow!” With that in mind, we decided to have a Pantone, art-inspired party. I purchased some lovely Jansen + Co cake stands few months ago, and they worked perfectly for Aniken’s party. I kept the backdrop white, as I wanted the colors to pop! Bianca of Blush Loves Mint made the most beautiful tassel garland and paper lanterns in the shades of lemon, mint and gray. Dewi of Sweet Bloom Cakes made the delicious multi-colored buttercream cake; neon macarons in the shades of yellow, red and blue; rainbow cake in a jar; ombre cookies; colorful cupcakes and scrumptious cake pops. And after every party, when it’s all over and the last of the cake crumbs hit the floor, we are left with the most amazing photos, thanks to the uber-talented Kate, who captured every single detail magnificently.
