SUPPLIES:
Multiple Small Ingredient Bowls (Microwave-Safe)
Tall Cordial or Mini Zombie Glasses
Candy Melts
Nonpareils
Root Beer
Vanilla Ice Cream (We recommend Haagen-Dazs Five Vanilla Bean.)
Whipped Cream
Chocolate Sprinkles
Maraschino Cherries
Striped Straws
Melon Baller or Cookie Scoop

1. Put candy melts and nonpareils into two separate ingredient bowls. Heat the candy melts according to the package directions. Be careful not to overcook.

2. Dip the rim of a single glass into the melted candy melts, then quickly dip it into the nonpareils so it coats the candy melts before it has time to cool and set. Set aside and repeat for the remaining glasses.

3. With a melon baller or cookie scoop, scoop out small balls of ice cream, putting one ice cream ball into each glass. Open a bottle of root beer, then pour slowly over the ice cream. Be careful — it will foam up quite a bit, so it’s better to pour less at first and add extra when it settles down. 

4. When all the glasses have been filled and the foam has settled a bit, pipe some whipped cream on the top of the float. Add chocolate sprinkles and a cherry on top, then insert a striped straw and serve!
