Man oh man, two major things that I absolutely love have just come together in an inspiration shoot from With a Flourish. Chevrons? Yes. Coffee with confections? Double yes. And when it's all photographed from the wonderful Erin Alexander Photography, you know that you're in for some real swoonworthy inspiration. And it's all in our gallery right here.

From With a Flourish... We decided to go with clean lines and modern colors for this head table and dessert table inspiration shoot and fill it with chevron and DIY details. The shoot took place at the photographer's studio in Winnipeg. The head table design is clean and simple, but the patterns make it stand out. The backdrop was made by cutting long pieces of fabric and sewing chevron fabric of the same width into some of the pieces. We then tied the pieces to a curtain rod and suspended it from the ceiling. It's a super-simple concept and easy to do, but it has a big impact! The tabletop was kept simple with flowers (mainly from the local farmers' market) in mason jars, succulents planted in mason jars and candles stuck in jars with coffee beans, which were all then placed in wooden boxes. We tied in the favors with the dessert table and gave away small glass containers of coffee beans that had been tied with a cute yellow ribbon.
The dessert table features coffee and perfect snacks for eating while sipping on a cup of coffee (we love our coffee around the With a Flourish office). From caramel-covered popcorn to homemade biscotti, and of course a wedding cake, we think this is a great option for a wedding dessert table. Decor includes vintage coffee makers and grinders. DIY elements include the chalkboard backdrop and the fabric-covered vases with coffee beans and candles. We love fun little details! The bouquet was made using as many farmers' market flowers as we could find mixed in, as well as a succulent for good measure, and we love the slightly vintage look that we ended up with.
