From Jean Marks … Recently, I had the privilege of helping Stacie and Ron plan their elegant Fall wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery, as well as the joy of getting to know them in the process. Stacie is an exquisitely beautiful bride – and so in love with her handsome groom, Ron.
But aside from the romance between the two of them, Stacie and Ron are totally invested in their family ties, and found several ways to honor family members throughout the wedding planning on their wedding day.
Instead of having groomsmen, Ron’s two teenage daughters were his Best Ladies. The father-daughter dance had two parts, one for Stacie and her father, and one for Ron and his two daughters.
Stacie created a candy buffet dedicated to her beloved family members. Each type of candy was chosen because it had been the favorite of one of her grandparents who were not alive now to be at the wedding, or because Stacie had “sweet memories” of being given these particular treats by parents, aunts and uncles who were at the wedding. They were all touched to see the public reference to their intimate gifts to Stacie.
