I’m not sure if it’s the stunningly dreamy photographs by Laura Murray, the sweet but timeless styling by Love This Day Events or the fact that the bride and groom seem so hopelessly and beautifully in love…but mark my words. This wedding will take your breath away. From Love This Day Events… Karie and Jesse’s July wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch was nothing short of perfection. Karie’s design style is absolutely flawless — a perfect balance between whimsical and garden. Combine that with her history as a venue coordinator, and she was a DREAM to work with. Jesse’s enthusiasm and excitement for the day was contagious, and the reception really did turn into one of the best parties I have ever been to! We created a soft and romantic floral design using dahlias, ivy, garden roses, lavender and the last of the season’s peonies in shades of cream, peach and pale pink. The gorgeous print work was the perfect accent to a lovely day!

From the Bride… After three short months of dating in South Florida, Jes and I followed our dream to move out west to Colorado. We spent three years climbing mountains, exploring remote wilderness and falling in love in God’s country. The organic gorgeousness of Devil’s Thumb Ranch reminded us of how we felt when we first landed in the Rocky Mountains. A thunderstorm rolled in just minutes before our ceremony. Most brides dread the thought of rain, but it brought such a stillness and sense of intimacy to our day.

My best advice is to enjoy the planning process with your finance. Be inspired by each others ideas and desires for the big day!
