It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means – it’s time for us to crank out the pretty at a record pace. Today we have seven of the most stylish soirees around to share with all you lovely SMPers, and don’t forget we are just showing snippits so be sure to check out the galleries for all the goodness!
First up on our agenda of pretty is a stunner by Jesi Haack Design that just happened to be hosted in one of the stylish venues, Marvimon. This couple is style defined, and their pretty fête captured by Ever Whim Photographs reflects their love for all things design. Topped off with sweet (and chic) treats from Sweet and Saucy Shop and fab florals Bash, Please – it’s the perfect way to start this oh so stylish day. See it all here!
From Jesi Haack Design… Vicky and Mike are super inspired by Eames fabrics. They met at a party where artists got together and sketched in each others’ sketchbooks, so we used that as our design platform. We brought in Eames style fabric runners on the natural wood tables. We created a patchwork style runner out of mid-century modern-style fabrics. We created a quilted-looking altar treatment to match the aisle runner. We found an Eames House of Cards that we used as the guest book. Each guest signed a “card” then we put it together for Vicky and Mike to have in their house forever! Each guest was greeted with a SWEET Tiffany’s treat at each place setting, and we wrapped them in our Eames style fabrics to tie them in to our design. We strung yarn all over an old recycled palette for a dessert table backdrop. The escort cards were cardboard animals with a ’60s retro vibe.
