Although the fact that I actually have to climb out of bed on this glorious Sunday morning is a bit tragic, it’s been made infinitely better upon seeing this magical, breakfast-in-bed moment. A boy. A girl. A stack of pancakes. And more smiles, laughter and unabashed lovey doviness than a girl could ever wish for. The photographs are by Scarlet O’Neill and the styling is by Love by Lynzie and together, they have officially, made my Sunday oh-so-sunny. Oh and for all of your wedding junkies, it’s actually a proposal shoot…but we thought it fit SMP at Home perfectly as inspiration for all. Click here to see even more.

From Lynzie Kent of Love by LynzieWe dreamed up the most delectable proposal ever and put it into action with oodles of balloons, sprinkled donuts, luscious red blooms and, of course, pancakes dripping in maple syrup. Our color palette was inspired by everything pink and feminine: rich, luxurious reds, sweet and soft pinks and blushes and a pop of shimmering gold. Lisa from Sweet Woodruff arranged a bouquet of vibrant peonies, ranunculus and garden roses tied loosely with a white satin bow. Our breakfast bar was complete with freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice, mini beignets, honey-glazed donuts, pomegranate and homemade buttermilk pancakes. Our backdrop was made with weaved streamers in blush, red and ivory, and the room was filled with pearlized pink and gold balloons. Décor Rest provided the velvet bench and acrylic lamps. Our models, who also happen to be accomplished contemporary dancers, wore chic and simple pajamas for that just-woke-up aesthetic.
