Today’s Nordstrom Wedding Suite style is ALL about elegant estate fabulousness. You know the girl. She wears Audrey Hepburn buns and pencil skirts. She sings to the classics, dances with gusto, serves champagne cocktails and smiles constantly. She is pure class and pure style and she loves herself some pure chic. And The Nordstrom Wedding Suite decked her out (and by her, I mean ME, eeek!) in the prettiest of pretty gowns with a veil and jewels that could stop traffic.

Before I dive into all of the wedding gown goodness, I wanted to mention that Nordstrom’s bridesmaid service is amazing. They make it ridiculously easy to get your girls stylistically stunning despite their area code. With a free wedding stylist on hand, The Nordstrom Wedding Suite will make sure your maids are good and organized right there during your bridal appointment. They’ll even correspond directly with all your ladies – regardless of their location – and ensure that it’s as seamless and special as it would be if they were right there next to you.

Okay, so here’s the behind the scenes secrets from this shoot. The dress was heaven. Roses by Reem Acra sure knows how to make a lady feel lovely and this gown (Ivy #R103)  gave me shape, style and all out beauty. Elaborate silver embroidery and an asymmetrical, layered tulle skirt with intricate pickups was the definition of bridal showstopper. And lucky, lucky me to get to be the girl who stops shows.

As for the styling…ummm, beyond. The Grace Kelly hair, the blingy bangles, the delicate but stunning earrings. Every last detail that my stylist chose ensured that this look was as gorgeous as it could get. And did I mentioned that I felt like SUCH a girl, such a princess, in this get up? Loved it. Love, love, loved it. And loved it even more when I spotted more than a handful of jewels that would work with just about any budget.

So all week we’ve been gushing about The Nordstrom Wedding Suite. But truth be told, what sent us over the edge was the graciousness of the staff and the TOTAL fun that we had during our visit. Gone are the days of stuffy service and blah experiences.
