Optimistic romance meets modern whimsy in this Wine & Roses garden wedding. Looking at the sunny disposition of the canary and cream Blossoms by Lisa florals alongside cool grey suits and silvery silk shantung in these Heather Scharf Photography shots is a visual trip to MoMA while sipping lemonade with your brain. However, the prize for best beverage in this love story actually goes to coffee. The couple fell in love over a cup of the stuff, so they gifted their guests with little burlap sacks of joe. We know you’re wondering if that could be any cuter, but the flower girl in her steel blue hued tutu gives the favors a run for their money (or beans, for that matter). From Heather Scharf Photography… Shannon and Jon met on a blind date at Starbucks and love was immediately in the air … along with the intoxicating aroma of fresh coffee beans. Their wedding details incorporated that first meet in such a clever way! They had small burlap sacks filled with chocolate-covered coffee beans with a note that said, “Our love began over a cup of coffee…” Her colors were yellow, gray, and white, and an extra yellow pop was added by placing a yellow flower on each guest’s gray napkin. It was a beautiful garden wedding featuring an acoustic guitar player and vocalist to perform for the processional and recessional. They wanted the wedding to feel chic, elegant and sophisticated. The Wine & Roses venue is classy and romantic with its lush gardens and natural beauty all around. Shannon wanted guests to feel at home and spoiled at the same time.
