Melbourne Engagement Session by Stewart Leishman Photography
June 6, 2012

If there was a Stewart Leishman Photography fan club, I'm pretty sure I would be in the running for president. Because every.single.time I see his name pop up in our submissions inbox, I get overly excited to open the pretty pictures I know await me. I love every image he snaps, and this pretty engagement session is just another reason why his fan club is one fabulous place to be. See it all here!

From the Groom-to-Be... Shizuka and I met at the wedding of some mutual friends on a frosty Tokyo winter night. We'd been placed on the same table at the reception (only later did we find out that this had been arranged by the bride) and I had my eye on her from the outset. She looked stunning and I wanted to talk to her, but she was busy the entire reception interpreting for some visiting Aussie guests. The typical Japanese reception lasts only two hours so I thought I'd missed my chance, but I was relieved when I found out that she'd be coming to the customary after-party. It was when we started talking at the bar that I realised she had a cold and found out that she'd contemplated not even coming out that night! Thank goodness she did because we clicked straight away, and I knew I'd found someone extremely special. We started contacting each other straight after we parted ways that night, had our first date the next weekend (even though she hadn't completed recovered from her cold), and the rest is history!
