From Sarah + Adam of InTandem... Melissa and Ivan's backyard wedding was a small, intimate affair with Venezuelan flair. They wanted their wedding to feel like a romantic picnic and a relaxed party for their 60 out-of-town guests. Gold-painted apples and sweets galore sat in a vintage armoire found at a thrift store. Couches and blankets offered poolside seating near a vintage television under lantern-lit palm trees. DIY projects included gold-painted apples, rice bags for the ceremony, flower arrangements, CD favors and handmade shoes and a hairpiece made by the bride's designer sister.
