From Ara Farnam of Rock Paper Scissors Events… Gabi and Dan were looking for a sophisticated, soft feel for their wedding, and they wanted to work with a muted palette of creams, slate, gray-blue and soft green. The grays and greens were picked up beautifully by the succulents we used as accents throughout, and the flowers by Rebecca Shepherd were just spot on. We used fabric to transform the space in an easy and inexpensive way. We wrapped a sage green silk fabric around the brown leather benches in the interior space to bring them into our palette, and we used a soft cream fabric to mask the poles in the tent. Both helped to soften the existing elements in the Foundry and were subtle details that helped with the overall soft effect the couple was after. Dan, the groom, created a monogram logo for their invitations, which was carried through in their menus and programs to create a cohesive feel to the wedding with recurring images.
