This is one of those pinch-me-is-this-real weddings. The kind that leaves a warm, fuzzy feeling in your heart because the couple is just too lovely, the flowers by The Floral Lab arranged impeccably down to the very last petal, the hair by Megan Wayt so wildly pretty and all those gorgeous details by Sweet Emilia Jane crafted so effortlessly. What I’m trying to convey in an uber long-winded, way too many superlatives kind of way is that this wedding is freaking GORGEOUS and it has a whole lot of images by Nancy Neil Photography to prove it. See them here!

From Emilia Jane of Sweet Emilia Jane… Devon and Jake are about as sweet a couple as you’ll ever meet. As high school sweethearts, they have a love that is refreshing, genuine and easy. They are both super smart, charming and were such a delight to get to know. Right away, I knew that I was going to love designing and planning for them. With a venue like Firestone, you can’t really go wrong, but we wanted to make Devon and Jake’s wedding true to them with loads of personal touches and handcrafted decor. Since both have an affinity for the 1960s, the overall vibe of the event had a rustic, flower child kind of feel with giant orange, yellow and tie-dyed kraft paper pinwheels, wood table runners and seasonal flowers in vintage milk glass vases. There were many highlights throughout the evening, including the school bus ride for all the guests (reminiscent of Devon and Jake’s school days together), a hay wagon ride for the bride and bridesmaids to the ceremony spot, the phenomenal pies in lieu of wedding cake by Crust by Stephanie Jayne and the all-night dance party. Nancy Neil totally captured the whimsical, laid-back yet elegant day perfectly.

GORGEOUS! I love every single thing that Nancy Neil does. What a lovely soft wedding, full to the brim of smiles. Perfection.
sooo pretty emilia!!!!
I love it
So Gorgeous Emilia! The photography is a perfect reflection of all the art and details you provided for the happy couple.
What a lovely wedding.
Mmm, that pie looks lovely. The Firestone Vineyard also looks like a lovely wedding venue. Down in central Illinois, there's the Mackinac vineyard which throws a party every fall, and we've seen a few weddings there. Vineyards in general seem like a rather neat place to tie the knot.
Thanks everyone! I have to say that those pies were the most amazing thing I've ever eaten! I dream about the salted caramel chocolate tart on a daily basis!
So gorgeous! Curious about where you found the bridesmaid dresses, love them!
Really lovely event!! Does anyone know who the shoes are by? I can't make out the label and the are so pretty!
yes, could someone please tell us which where the bridesmaid dresses are from? and the color name? they're the perfect blush color!
Where is the seating chart from? I love it!
Hazel - I actually made the seating chart for them on a roll of kraft paper...it actually went all the way to the floor. It was one of my favorite pieces from the day. I'll actually be offering custom ones in my etsy shop - http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetemiliajane .
The bridesmaids dresses were Priscilla of Boston in bisque but, unfortunately, they have closed their salons. :(
Wow! I think I "pinned" the whole thing. Every detail was better than the last. I love using the dark stained board as a table runner.
Where can I get that custom pie topper?! Adorable!
Yes! I would also love to know where the custom cake topper is from! It's so awesome!
This is really beautiful. I love the school bus!
Thanks everyone! We were very fortunate to find such great people to work with to make our wedding a reality. We enjoyed every moment of it!!
For those of you that have been asking, our pie topper was from an Etsy shop called Better Off Wed. My shoes were from Nordstrom (BP brand and the shoe is called "Platinum Twirl Sandal"). They were super inexpensive but exactly what I was looking for.
The last picture is brilliant. And I loved the school bus to move guests around!
These pics really bring me back, amazing. Devon and Jake were so great to work with and had such amazing taste in music, it really was a pleaseure putting it together. Thank you Emilia, Devon, and Jake for making me part of the team on this super special day. Firestone is such a beautiful and serene location. All weddings should be this gorgeous. You can find me on fb should you need assistance with music for your big day. Thanks Style Me Pretty!
Love this wedding!! I am dying over the flower girls dress, do you have a source? Thanks!
I'm always a sucker for a ceremony under a big ol' tree. Love the simplicity &beauty of this wedding.
Wow- the photographer is amazing! I love the use of sunlight!!
Gorgeous! Nancy does it again!!
Love the bright pops of color and different textures that the flowers bring! You don't see the soft color of the bridesmaids dresses often...quite lovely! This wedding is a stunner!
Such beautiful photos!
You should've seen the afterparty at the Mandarin Touch. That ish was of the chizzain. Mad props to my favorite bridesmaid ;-)
Absolutely stunning. What a lovely wedding.
