Placentia, California Wedding by Alders Photography

February 22nd. 2012 by Erin | Filed Under | 15 comments

I’m giving Alders Photography a big, virtual bear hug for sending this lovely wedding our way. It’s filled with bow heels and boots and pies galore as well as a billion other adorable details that make for one stunning, rustic affair. Did I mention the bow heels? Clearly I’m in all out shoe amour but they ARE pretty darn fabulous. So is this sweet-as-pie wedding. Head to the gallery for so much more.

From the bride… We met senior year in high school in track and field. We started dating freshman year in college (2006), and Arthur proposed 5 years later! He proposed at a place called 1,000 steps in Laguna Beach. We decided to have a Southern/rustic wedding. I was born and raised in Texas, and I wanted something that represented my roots! We had a groom’s cake as a special Southern touch. Seeing Arthur crying as I walked down the aisle was a huge moment for me! Plus throwing on my cowboy boots at the reception! I love the photo of Arthur and I sitting on the swing looking at each other. As far as advice to other brides, I would say to enjoy your day! It goes by fast! Take time to remember every moment!

    What a beautiful wedding!

I know that the bride's shoes are Badgley Mischka, but are the bridesmaids' shoes as well? If not, does anyone know who they are? Lovely!

Thank you to all the wonderful feedback. This was such a special day in such a special place! The ranch was the perfect location for us! It allowed room for detail and added character :) we were able to make it our own. The bridesmaids shoes are Dolce Vita and we got them from Nordstroms. Let me know if there is any more questions!
