There is a cost to use the Traveler's Joy Honeymoon Registry site. It is better to use a honeymoon registry site that is free and does not charge members a fee. I believe that honeyfund.com is a completely free website. See Traveler's Joy member fee info below.

Members — 7.5% of the gift value covers the hosting, features, and services of your registry, phone support five days a week, twenty-four hour email support, and support for your wedding guests who wish to purchase a gift for you over the phone.

My husband and I used this for our honeymoon and had a great experience! It's a great way to create memories from your honeymoon experience and for your guests to feel like they've had a part in creating it.

  3. It does seem like a neat idea, particularly with the option for splitting gifts across guests. That would have come in handy for us when we registered for a standing mixer : D

  4. Linda says:

@Lauren We looked at HoneyFund but they charge gift givers up to 3.5% if they want to give a gift using their credit card. If they don't use their credit card, they have to have a PayPal account or print off a receipt and send a check in the mail. Seems like a lot of work for someone that just wants to give a gift so we'll pay the extra % for the conveniences Traveler's Joy provides. Oh, get this, HoneyFund also tried to upsell us for $35 once we signed up...if you don't pay, there are advertisements all over your registry page!

I want to go to there! :) May need to put that on our 10 year anniversary list.

  6. This looks like a really great idea as a much welcomed alternative to traditional household items as a wedding gift! Very cool!

  7. Lovely looking place, particularly like the shot of the ,snorkelling.
