Brooklyn Wedding by Dove + Sparrow Photography

I’m pretty convinced that if I actually knew this couple…we would be best friends. And I mean that sincerely. They gifted their guests a wedding brunch at a local restaurant complete with hot sauce and buttered chicken biscuit sandwiches. See what I mean? Besties for sure. Okay, so aside from their great taste in food, this couple happened to throw what I consider to be a SO very SMP fête. A wedding filled with touches that were meaningful to their lives, allowing their own unqiue loves and passions to guide their wedding day style. And the result, captured by Dove + Sparrow was total perfection. Click here to see even more.

From Dove + Sparrow…Gabe and Danielle met while working in finance in New York City, and recently made the move to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The pair wanted a wedding that really represented their Brooklyn loves and artistic taste, and decided the perfect setting was the Thompson Hotel in Soho, New York City.

They had custom caramels engraved with their initials from Pappabubble, a cake topper from BHLDN, and they booked their favorite band they had discovered playing in the subway. They used balloons for the formal photos. Their dog, Oliver, was their ringbearer, and he carried their Cartier and Tiffany’s wedding bands. They ended their wedding weekend by having brunch the next morning at a neighborhood spot, Pies ‘n’ Thighs, which featured hot sauce and buttered chicken biscuit sandwiches, fresh orange juice, and handmade donuts.

Oh why did they have to ruin it with a "winning" reference? Booo. But everything else was lovely.

Beautiful wedding! Love that the photographer was able to to capture both the glamour and simple charm of this day. Not usually a fan of small dogs, but the photos with them are adorable, eye catching and not over-the-top. Great job to all involved!

I love the organic natural feel of the brides bouquet; the garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, astilbe, lambs ear?, and other accents are stunning. The black sash and headband on the bride is adorable. Everything is captured beautifully. Congratulations to the couple!

Love everything about this wedding, the black and cream colour tones make it sophisticated but still warm, and how amazing is her dress?! Would never have thought of accessorizing with a plain black ribbon but it suits it perfectly! Perfection!

The wedding is just beautiful. But it is in no way Brooklyn. Its not in Brooklyn and the food is not Brooklyn. So how is it you call it a Brooklyn wedding?

WOW! I am utterly impressed with this. I am an event planner and have seen my fair share of weddings and this one just takes the cake. The photographer really nailed this one! Lighting is incredible!!!!! Is there a way I can get in touch with this photographer as I would give her a ton of work based on what I see?!?!??!?!?!?!??! JUST LOVE IT!!!!

Love the Vera dress! And I also love what she did with her hair; it wasn't traditional and I love that. She's gorgeous. This whole wedding is just so beautiful!
