Sometimes an unexpected palette is JUST what the doctor ordered. By foregoing the traditional red and green combo that the Holidays typically entail, Kelly Oshiro Design crafted a dazzling tablescape in a sea of aqua and red that is perfect for Holiday get togethers and weddings alike. Who knows, Aqua just might be the new Hunter green for Holiday decor. Halberg Photographers snapped all the lovely images and we have them all sitting pretty in the gallery for you to explore.

From Kelly Oshiro Design… Aqua blues mixed with vibrant holiday red makes for an understated and elegant holiday table. I started with a clean base of La Tavola’s Topaz surf linen, a cool blue that reminds me of the ocean. Then to add a punch of holiday spirit, flowers in a story of red and purple, were arranged loosely in a footed apothecary jar. For flowers, I used: South American red heart roses, burgundy peonies, red ranunculus, astrania, astibe, pepperberry, Christmas bush, and seeded eucalyptus. For napkins I used a mod, palm springs-esque pattern in red and aqua and placed a posey of astrania tied with red velvet ribbon on each place setting. To finish the look, I made a wreath out of the same elements as the tabletop arrangement and overflowed a side table with extra blooms. And for the final touch, I tied a petite red velvet around my dog, Mira.
