From Meg Perotti Photographer...When George and Joyce got engaged, they immediately knew where they wanted say their vows at Crystal Springs Golf Course. Joyce who passed by the golf course everyday on her way to work knew that she wanted their ceremony overlooking the majestic valley. Inspired by the shabby chic style, they chose the magical Los Altos History Museum as their backdrop for their wedding reception.
The couple wanted to incorporate their own relationship, style and craftsmanship into every detail. Everything from the intricate invitations, sticker monograms, lace chiffon backdrop and even directional signs were hand made by the couple. They wanted some of the old world charm using old trunks, milk glasses and tea cups while incorporating vibrant colors of red, magenta, yellow and accents of green to reflect their bright personalities. At the same time, the couple incorporated their Asian roots treating guests to a mouthwatering menu which included Dimsum appetizers, Korean BBQ short ribs, a sushi station, bubble tea and lychee sake. Everyone had a great time and the couple couldn't have imagined a more perfect and sweet day!
