San Francisco Wedding Inspiration from Stellina Events + Bliss Fotography
This gorgeous venue, The University Club of San Francisco, is beyond amazing, and is the perfect – PERFECT – inspiration for a gorgeous Old Hollywood wedding. Just ask Stellina Events. As soon as she stepped into The Club, she was instantly taken to a different era. One of vintage romance, old leather books, and martinis. And the most perfect soiree, of course, in the form of a wedding. So a wedding she created, complete with two vintage brides and one gorgeous cake. Captured by Bliss Fotography, the entire shoot is filled with wonder and magic, and about a million fantastic ideas for your own gorgeous affair. From Stellina Events … Our inspiration for this photo shoot was Old Hollywood in San Francisco. Walking through the halls of The University Club, one can’t help but be reminded of its creation and establishment in 1890 and wonder about the voices and stories that were told throughout the decades. If only these walls could talk…
We imagined the days of the silver screen era of Hollywood creating an elegant and glamorous ambiance while adding contemporary touches and vibrant color.
The color scheme was based on shades of eggplant, dark plum, sage, espresso and white.
We wanted to integrate local and seasonal flowers and vegetables within the décor based on inspiration from the natural Northern California surroundings. Floral arrangements set in silver vases and cups were filled with eggplant calla lilies, plum dahlias, deep purple berries, white berries, sugared grapes, white lisianthus, artichokes and cabbages. Alongside the flowers we placed tapered antique European candlestick holders from Krakow, Poland while antique leather-bound books from the library were added as details throughout the room.

This is such a beautiful shoot! I especially love what Amanda from Stellina Events did with the bouquets (I was already obsessed with artichokes and berries, and now I can add cabbages to the list!) and the menu and invitation designs as well. Having been to The University Club myself, I love how the detail of the added vintage books works with the space and highlights the amazing look and feel of this venue.... and the photography could not be better! Congratulations to Stellina Events and Bliss Fotography!

The ladies look amazing in the space. I love how they both look like they went back into time together. How romantic....The gloves were also a great touch!
I love the unique choice in venue for this intimate, vintage wedding shoot. Something about the pool table, chandielier, and library books makes for a special touch, that you don't see in most weddings/photos. I love the hairpieces and choice of floral selections. Amanda from Stellina Events really captures the essence of Old Hollywood glamour, while adding her touch of creativity. I love the deep maroon colored flowers, antique candlesticks and use of the venue. I also think that the photograph of the cake perched on the old library book finished with the cabbage, is a fantastic combination! The photography is wonderful, looked like a fun shoot!
