San Luis Obispo Wedding by Jen Rodriguez Photography + Events Redefined + April Flowers
Oh sweet, sweet cafe au lait dahlia. I know we all go gaga over peonies and garden roses but give me a big, beautiful, peachy dahlia any day of the week and I am a happy, happy girl. That’s why this San Luis Obispo wedding has quickly made it’s way into my list of favorites. Besides the beautiful arrangements by April Flowers, it boasts beautiful photographs by the extraordinary Jen Rodriguez Photography and perfectly planned details by Events Redefined. From Jen Rodriguez Photography…Jen and Joey with the help of the talented ladies of Events Redefined created a gorgeous event at a charming fruit ranch tucked in the hills just outside of San Luis Obispo. The Ranch is gorgeous on its own but with the added beauty of the flowers designed by April Flowers it was magical. The overall design seemed to have a collected feel with old books, containers, a mix of florals and soft and sweet neutral tones.
Jen and Joey opted to do a first look to allow more time with family and friends during cocktail hour. We did the first look at the bottom of the steps leading down to the ceremony site. It was the perfect location to see each other for the first time. They had a beautiful ceremony and Jen was walked down the aisle by her uncle while she held onto her bouquet that was wrapped in her dad’s handkerchief to keep him close to her. After the ceremony they partied into the evening and said an early goodbye to guests. After the wedding we were able to venture to the nearby Avila Beach for some amazing sunset shots at both the cliffs overlooking the beach and down on the beach itself.

Beautiful! I just love blush pink. The color combo is very soft and warm.
I loved everything about this wedding. It was such a fun wedding to photograph. The couple Jen + Joey were seriously so sweet and the family was so thrilled for them to get married. It was a great wedding to be a part of.
