This Long Island wedding was so perfect, it’s hard to believe this couple ever could have had something not so wonderful happen along the way (more on that below). I mean, the vineyard setting, with grapes hanging from the trees, the delish and I mean DELISH looking menu – courtesy of Marcey Brownstein Catering & Events, the beautiful photos from Doug McGoldrick (which they won due to their interesting back story – again more below), it’s all amazing. Amazing, amazing. Click here to check out the gallery of images, and then make sure to read what Doug had to say about these two special people and their big day!

And now for a little more of this fabulous affair from Love In Progress…
From Doug McGoldrick … This was, the wedding to end all weddings. Friday night, a welcome party at a gallery, in Green Point, Long Island, Saturday a beach cook out party, and then Sunday an amazing wedding at the Bedel vineyard. Tons of fantastic details, lots of great light, and wonderful people. Some amazing vendors put together an amazing event. Lisa and Sam (the bride and groom) where the big winners in my destination wedding photography contest, they have a wonderful back story.
Definitely, definitely read their back story. It’s completely unbelievable.

So beautiful! I love the timeless feel to the photos. Great video clip too!
OMG - My now-husband and I were at Bedell that day before they closed for the event and saw this pretty bride before her ceremony! What a gorgeous spot for a summer wedding. Congratulations to this lovely couple!
Beautiful wedding!!! Any way you can provide me with your Rabbi's information?
@amanda, that is amazing, I probably saw you there. @steph the Rabbi is also a relative of the bride, I believe she was in from California, if you shoot me an email I can see about getting her contact info to you.
Love the dress... where is it from?
@ Jessie the dress is from seliayang.com tell her I sent ya!
The story is to die for...you know, hearing it happened to someone else LOL
Beautiful wedding
@steph, the rabbi is Darcie Crystal, Lisa's friend from NYC. Darcie trains rabbinical students at Hebrew Union College, so you can look her up there.
I had an absolutely wonderful time working with Lisa and Sam and creating a menu that was truly tailored to their style and taste! Thought you might want to see what their final menu was!
