There is not a single detail in this wedding that I don’t love. Like seriously love. I love the bride and her beautiful gown. I love the organic, yet painstakingly elegant design. I love the relaxed and yet timeless vibe. I love every last detail so to hear that the bride was also a huge fan of Style Me Pretty, well, this afternoon finds me a happy, happy blogger. And of course, photographer Lane Dittoe and planner Gatherings by Stacie have ensured that every last moment was orchestrated and captured to absolute perfection. I love, I love, I love. From Gatherings by Stacie…Jillian & Edward met at college in Cambridge, England. So when Edward proposed, Jillian began planning an intimate wedding back in her hometown of Orange County, CA that would tantalize any guest local or abroad! From the moment one entered the gates of “The Folly”, an interpretation of a Folly or party structure that might be found in England, they were immediately transported to another place and time and both the bride & the groom having an appreciation of England, said yes please!
So on a Thursday in July, 35 very special guests arrived to The Folly to sip on citrus mint spritzer’s in an outer garden, witnessed the couples vows at the summer house tucked under a huge century old pepper tree and continued on throughout the evening with surprises and entertainment that could be found in the ten “room” 40-year-old garden in the classic Italian “loose” style under the stars.
Artist Vicki High painted a whimsical watercolor of the grounds of the property and we used that as an opportunity to create these very personal DIY menu cards! Additional details like vintage glass, china, silver & linens were used from the bride’s family china cabinet, even the vintage cake topper that was her grandmother & grandfathers used on their wedding day.
This was a delightful celebration for a delightful couple and another fabulous example of a boutique wedding! So then, we gave three cheers to the nuptials of Jillian & Edward as the sun set then, off to Edinborough Scotland they went to begin their new life together – The beginning.

Beautiful, Stacie, my friend!!!
Congrats!!!
Well, I am absolutely beside myself about this post! Thank you Style Me Pretty & the fabulous Abby Larson for making my bride Jillian’s blog dream come true! Every single thing about this wedding was boutique and a joy. Thank you to all who helped me on this wedding. My love to Jillian & Edward!
The bride and her gown is just beautiful. I loved the setting for the wedding. It couldn't have been in a more lovely place. Thumbs up to the photographer and everyone else who worked on this wedding.
Congrats sweet friend! What a fantastic job you did making all of Gillians wedding dreams come true... I love that The Folly looks different for every wedding. (this one might be my favorite) Can't wait to see whats next Stacie.
Stacie, it is alll beautiful!!!
Doesn't the groom remind you of ashton kutcher? The Bride is Beautiful and So is Everything about this wedding!
love the shot of the bride and groom head to head. so much love!
The venue looks amazing!

I love this venue and all these fab vendors! Thanks Abby for the feature.
I LOVE this! I adore the decor and am using it for inspiration for my wedding in just 2 months. Can you please tell me where the groom got his tuxedo?

These wedding photos are awesome. I really like the detail that you captured. Thank you for the post.
thanks so much for the nice words.
I adore this wedding. Could you please tell me where the mother of the bride got her dress? It is so gorgeous!
Where is the sash from? Is it Ivy and Aster as well? Goooorgeous! Many congratulations to the happy couple!
This is a really cool blog. I like the photos from the outdoor wedding. The photographer did an excellent job to make you feel like you are at the wedding. I like the different center pieces that they used. This would be a very easy thing to make. I like that a lot of the things that they used for the center pieces seemed to be very crafty. I would like to try and make some for my own wedding.
What a beautiful setting! The tables look fantastic. A dream wedding/reception to be sure.
There really isn't anything I don't love about this wedding either. And that ring shot on the succulent? It's perfect. So pretty--really love the moss on the tables too. I could go on and on... :)
Beautiful vintage theme. Love this location.
After so many months (and really years before we even got engaged!) of admiring the different SMP brides and their fabulous weddings and vendors--it is so surreal to see my own wedding up here! Thank you SMP, and Abby Larson especially, for creating such a great community for soon-to-be brides and those of us who are just obsessed with weddings!
Emma, my husband got his tuxedo in London, so that's probably not much help, but it's a peaked lapel and slim fit, so maybe you can find one in a similar style?
Heidi, my mom's dress came from the Tadashi store at South Coast Plaza. She really loved that dress and said it was super comfortable! Hope you can find it!
Emily, the belt is Ivy and Aster and I'm now trying to incorporate it into my daily outfits--belt, headband, etc.--I love it that much!
Thank you all for the sweet comments!:)
Beautifuel wedding rings !
Would it possible to know the brand !
Many thanks
I adore the details...pink glass vintage tea cups, mercury glass tea lights, silver plated tea pots, the garden roses, soft color palette, succulents, the couple and the bride's faint blue shoes, beautiful photography and venue...absolutely stunning. Abby described it perfectly, relaxed yet timeless, organic but elegant.
Lane Dittoe slays me. His photos are so good!!! Thanks for posting these.
This is absolutely HEAVEN!!! The moss, the flowers, the locations! Unbelievably amazing!
