From the Bride… Our wedding was held at a historic plantation home in Spring Hill, TN called Rippavilla. The theme was very vintage-chic, and girly! Vintage was my theme for planning the wedding, that is why I went with floral touches, bird cages, and a lace wedding gown. We used lots of pinks and whites. We used peonies, and LOTS of flower petals. My bridesmaids wore one-sleeved long flowy, watermelon pink dresses. We were on a TIGHT budget of $5,000, not including the dress which I got for a steal at only $800.00 AFTER tax and alterations. I did EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING myself. I spent countless hours researching. It was well worth it because we saved tons of money, and had a beautiful wedding!!!

WOW! That is awesome! $5000. budget! Its hard to have a gorgeous wedding on that budget but you definitely succeeded! It's beautiful!
wow! so impressive on that budget!!!
Beautiful!! I need your help...im trying to have myself a wedding on a small budget like yours ...what should i do?
Wow! I am amazed that you pulled off such a beautiful wedding on a $5000.00 budget! How did you do it? What did you do for food, music, and photography?
What a beautiful setting and the colors just pop! Kuddos on your great budget, too! Your memories are priceless ;)
Can you breakdown the $5,000 budget? It's so hard to imagine getting that all done on that kind of budget with all those vendors.
I agree with Karin. I think it would be nice to have a budget breakdown so that other brides can pull off an equally wonderful wedding!
agreed! what is the budget breakdown? I've done months of research and it seems impossible to do a wedding under $25,000.
Can you tell me where you got the &-sign? I love it!
I've got to know -- how did you feed people, let alone do anything else, on a $5,000 budget?? Good for you -- it seems nearly impossible!
