This adorable and lucky couple knew the moment they decided to have their wedding at his family’s barn that they had made the right decision and would have a unique day filled with loads and loads of DIY details that really spoke to who they are as a couple. And what more could they really ask for? The tables, adorned with milk glass, mason jars and old literature books, made for the perfect, personal tablescape and can we just pause for a moment and talk about how fabulous those pink bridesmaids dresses are? Total perfection. Andrea Murphy Photography was there to capture all the details and there’s so much more in the full gallery!

From the Bride…When we began planning our wedding, we knew we wanted it be very…us. When we first started looking for venues, we had trouble deciding because we wanted to have something very different without spending a ton of money. After dinner one night at Sam’s family home, it dawned on us that we could just use their barn, since it is gigantic!
Sam and I both wanted different styles, rustic and vintage. After much deliberation, we decided, why not combine the two? We used the barn as our biggest rustic feature and added vintage touches in the tables, flowers and attire. Every detail was considered in how it related to us as a couple. The books on the tables played on my (Rachel) degree in english and love of literature while the mason jars and other pieces were taken from our own decorations at home.
By the day of, we were a little nervous as to how it would all turn out. I had this image in my head of how we wanted to look but wasn’t sure it would actually translate. When I walked into the reception, I was blown away. I knew I had worked on all the details and been a part of all the work, but to see it all together was just wonderful. As much work as it was doing most of it DIY, it was totally worth it in the end. Plus, having amazing vendors makes it SO much better! We worked hard up until the day of, then they took over for us, so we didn’t have to do a thing except enjoy each other and our friends and family.

So excited to see the photos up here and am glad everyone likes the style...but rest assured, it was just as fun as it looked-our only regret is that it couldn't last longer!
As the mother of the groom, I was thrilled with the photographer - not only are the pictures lovely and unique, she was totally unobtrusive throughout the day. You didn't even know she was there.

The photographer's eye for detail... amazing. Great work of art.
The real talent that Andrea brings to the photo shoot is her warm, caring, giving personality. The shows that she really cares and she has a gift for making everyone feel at ease. She takes a lot of the stress and anxiety out of what can only be considered as an extra-ordinarily emotional event. She makes it fun! I cannot commend her enough. She is a gifted photographer with an excellent eye imagination for putting together a scene to photographed which will be remembered and treasured forever. I recommend her to everyone!

I've worked with Andrea and she is amazing and has a great eye for details! This is a gorgeous wedding with beautiful images!
Even though the event is on a barn, the wedding still looks perfect. Floral designs are cute and looks elegant. I think, the vintage theme brought a classy look to it.
If anyone is interested, I make the Red Neck Wine glasses that you see in one of their pictures. And incidentally, it really was a beautiful wedding. Prettiest soft pink I have ever seen. SO understated and feminine.
You may find the wineglasses at this sight....Facebook page Holly Phillips....in the photo album called my Gift Store...They are very inexpensive...

Beautiful! Each picture is perfect! What a beautiful wedding, and the photographs highlight the amazing detail! Wow!
@ Lindsay Rogers- Hi Lindsay,
The barn is located on my in-law's land. They were kind enough to let us take it over along with their house! If you are looking for a barn location in Tulsa, The Barn at Vive Le Ranch is beautiful!
