Charleston Wedding by Marcella Treybig Photography

Up next is a Charleston number by Marcella Treybig Photography that is so pretty you’ll want to do a little dance – which we fully encourage, by the way. Green and yellow and adorable all over, I think you’ll be hard-pressed to not break out your dancing shoes after poring over this pretty. Am I right or am I right? Feel free to dance the day away in the full gallery of images!

From Marcella Treybig PhotographyEric Colley (groom) a reporter on TMZ and Lauren decided to plan a destination wedding (since they live in LA) and their families are on the east coast where they grew up, not all in one place. To make it ‘fair’ for everyone they decided to do it right in the middle so it would be an even travel for everyone! While searching for the perfect spot Lauren decided that Charleston, South Carolina was perfect with its historical towns, ocean views, beaches, spring flowers, and horse drawn carriages. This town definitely has a lot of charm! The old historic rice mill house was the perfect spot for their classic charming wedding. The horse drawn carriages and people on the tours would often pass by and stop to partake in the photo op, so I made sure to include some of that action!

Eric’s father passed recently and he decided to incorporate his fathers wedding band in with two newer bands making it his own. It was meant to be because it was a PERFECT fit for his finger. No re-sizing at all! Eric was a killer dancer busting out moves to old Michael Jackson songs during the first dance. They even had a photo booth that I ran and managed to snap a shot with the couple & my assistant photographer.

Lauren had a wedding planner for her wedding since she did not live near Charleston, but through the experience she has discovered a passion for wedding planning and is the wedding planner for MY April 14th wedding coming up next year in Brenham, Texas. My couples always become good friends!

  6. The flowers are seriously just simple and pretty. The best way to handle bouquets and decor. The color in them add the perfect pop without being overbearing.

doe anyone know the venue? half of my family is in south carolina, the rest are between ny, al, and fl, so i am thinking of a destination wedding in charleston, kind of in the middle for everyone, and a beautiful city, i love the history and sweet southern feel mixed with the beach and ocean!
