From the Bride…I’m a special events planner. My background is events within magazine publishing. I never envisioned anyone planning my wedding aside from me. I know what I like and I trust my taste. Mitch was an extremely helpful groom. Even though he was juggling a demanding job, he still made time to travel for food tastings, venue searches, floral demos etc. Also, he used his way above average excel skills to keep everything meticulously organized, once a guest confirmed, he had a million sheets that automatically populated other line items involving budget and all that madness. He was also right by me picking up wedding stationery and the like. He addressed all the save the dates and wedding invitations. His handwriting is pretty perfect. Lol! I asked for his opinions a lot so he won’t feel like an outsider (and I value his taste) – it was a collaborative effort but with me mainly steering the ship.

Our ceremony took place in a tiny church on Tybee Island (St. Michael Catholic Church). It was the perfect small church where we were surrounded by close family and friends. We had a cocktail reception and a spectacular dinner at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah GA. The renovation Victorian mansion is glamorous, charming, and comfortable.
