From Kate Miller Photography…This Illinois engagement session was so much fun to shoot! Braving a warm, mosquito filled evening we set out with Adam and Elizabeth into a greater Chicago Land Forrest preserve. Making photographic use of the dock/boats, field, and green floored wooded area as well as some of the many paths. Adam and Elizabeth were initially worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera but after a while they really loosened up and you can feel the affection they have for one another and also the great amounts of laughter they share!
To me this the best part of living in the midwest and particularly Chicago area. Access to the urban as well as the outdoors. Engagement sessions are such a great chance to spend time with your photographers, getting to know how you all work as a team on a day when there are no details to worry about. Also you get the chance to have some beautiful photos for use in your wedding or maybe just because its always nice to have quality photographs where you are not wearing a suit and gown! If you have the chance to have an engagement session just say yes! You will not regret it…
