Auberge du Soleil Wedding from Adeline and Grace Photography

I think it’s safe to say that I need to keep my little blogger booty away from Napa, because after this fantastic affair, I am worried I would never come home. The big, gorgeous sky, the gently rolling mountains, amazing color of that foliage are all calling my name. The wedding, seen through the lens of Adeline & Grace Photography, is filled to the brim with all California has to offer, plus an adorable couple, phenom flowers, and food to make your mouth water. Perfect for a Monday morning. In fact, there is so much to offer in this stunning affair, we couldn’t show it all here, so make sure to check out the full image gallery!

The brides fab jewelry comes from the cuties over at Haute Bride.

Magnus and I grew up in neighboring towns in the Bay Area and then attended the same college. But it wasn’t until our senior year of college that we met through mutual friends at a party. Magnus later surprised me with a beautiful sunset proposal on the rooftop of the same building where we had first met six years prior.

While dating, we’d spent many weekends traveling from San Francisco to Napa to get out of the city and enjoy all that the beautiful wine country has to offer.  We knew right off the bat that Napa is where we wanted get married.  With most of our friends and family already from the Bay Area, Napa provided a mini-destination wedding of sorts. The actual venue choice wasn’t as easy, as there are so many gorgeous venues in the area.  However, we knew we had found the site the minute we arrived at Auberge du Soleil.  The natural elegance and absolutely stunning views of the Napa Valley at Auberge sold us immediately.  It was important to us that our venue showcased the natural beauty of the area and the views from the ceremony site at Auberge surely fit the bill.

The flowers and decor were really important to me in the planning process.  I wanted to pick a color scheme and decor that didn’t compete with the natural beauty of the site, but still set the tone for an elegant fall wedding while reflecting our personalities.  I chose warm browns, taupes and varying shades of orange to complement the warm decor of Auberge, with touches of metallic gold throughout to incorporate a more glamorous feel to the day. I have always loved flowers, so I chose dense arrangements of orange flowers – roses, orchids, dahlias and more, with touches of green to add visual interest and texture.

It was a gorgeous and memorable day that went off without a hitch, with large thanks due to all of our wonderful vendors who helped keep us on track and provided seamless service.

Absolutely gorgeous! I am so in love with the veil...my gown has a similar shape and I think this veil would be perfect! Who is the designer/what is the style #...if you wouldn't mind sharing. I've had my eye on a that pair of heels from J.Crew too (trying to choose between the Jillian and the Rory styles)...were they comfortable to wear all day? I can't tell from the photos, but did you go with the pale gold or the silver? And how fun are those wine corks?! What a beautiful wedding...congratulations!

Hi Carrie! Thanks. Unfortunately, I can't remember the designer of the veil. I have a call into Bridal Galleria to see if they still have the info in my file. The JCrew Jillian heels were perfect. My feet didn't hurt by the end of the night. I chose the silver color. I'll re-post if my dress shop still has the info on the veil. Happy planning!

Wow!! I LOVE Adeline & Grace!! They have the best visions and are so creative! I love how she intermingled the bands with the engagement ring on top of the cork and the invitation set up in the fall leaves. Beautiful! I loved the custom corks and colors that they chose. The bride looked beautiful and the dress is amazing! Congratulations!!
