Beaufort Wedding by Landon Jacob Productions

Have you all been to Beaufort, South Carolina? I haven’t but from the looks of this wedding captured by Landon Jacob Productions, Beaufort is a total Southern gem and the water views? They had us at hello. But even the location pales in comparison to this gorgeous fête. Southern Graces crafted a virtuoso of romantic details with just the right combination of blushing pink and pale aqua all draped in a cloud of lace. From the Bride…We chose to get married in Beaufort because it is absolutely beautiful- it has the low country charm of Charleston that we were looking for but it isn’t nearly as crowded. We used soft pinks and greens that were naturally surrounding the inn, and it made everything pretty without being too girly. We wanted to play up Beaufort’s old south atmosphere with airy lace, mason jars, and grits! Since our wedding was in the garden of the inn, we wanted to incorporate the trees that seemed to magically spring up out of the brick ground. We used the trees on our invitations, cake, and stamped little trees with our initials onto the favor bags. We had a blast making the favors together, it was definitely our favorite detail of the wedding!

Choosing the food was probably our favorite part. We wanted to keep with the low country feel by having grits, she crab soup, and cheer wine barbecue. It was great to have a breather to sit down, eat our yummy food, and take in the fact that we had just gotten married!

Our wedding was everything we wanted- simple, elegant, and southern. But the dress, the flowers and everything else paled in comparison to our marriage. It has been such a blessing and honor to spend everyday as best friends and husband and wife.

    Absolutely beautiful wedding and so beautifully captured by Landon and Jordan! If we had known you 12 years ago (and you weren't middle schoolers at the time - HA) we would have had you photograph our wedding, too! Ah, but we are lucky to have you take pics of our family now!
