Looking for a little blast of fabulous to perk up those sleepy eyes? Mirelle Carmichael Photography has just the thing and it is serving up a big dose of nuptial day fun. Set in one of my favorite little west coast towns, San Luis Obispo, this day is a beautiful blend of cheery details by CJN Event Planning and love, love, love out in the fresh California air. But all pretty decor aside, we seriously can’t take our eyes off the Bride’s fab necklace. Magnificent isn’t it? Catch all the festivities and fine jewelry specimens in the FULL gallery.

From Mirelle Carmichael PhotographyKirsten and Levi had planned their June 4 wedding for a garden-setting ceremony and plenty of sunshine at Flying Caballos Ranch in San Luis Obispo.  Instead they had a weekend of non-stop rain and had to move the ceremony and reception to a tent!  But these two never complained.  Kirsten and Levi had lots of DIY elements to their wedding that they were very proud of, combined with the beautiful creations of local talented vendors!  The theme of their wedding was based on a whimsy combination of yellows, grays, creams and succulents.  Kirsten planted the succulent garden centerpieces herself, which complimented the additional florals provided by Sprigs N Things.  The bride and groom also built a fun photobooth backdrop and provided guests with instant cameras to take home photos and add photos to their guestbook.  Kirsten topped off her beautiful silk wedding gown with a yellow cardigan and jewelry from Etsy and wore yellow dolce vita shoes.  The groom and groomsmen all wore vans sneakers with their suits.
