If you’ve ever wondered what the word romance really looks like…look no further. This wedding, in all its vintage-elegant-crazy beautiful glory is all romance. So stunning that it almost makes me blush, with photographs by Studio Castillero that are like a perfect little window into a blissfully beautiful day. The bride is the epitome of classic, the details are enough to make you cry and the boy…well, he’s pretty darn cute too. Wynn Austin had me at hello with this beautiful, beautiful affair. Oh and guess what? There are a gazillion more steal-worthy details tucked inside the gallery.

From Wynn Austin… Jessica & JJ met in high school and knew of each other but have never really had the opportunity to get to know each other. From JJ’s perspective, he always admired Jessica from a distance and had always thought of her as the girl that is out of his league. It took about four years later when fate brought them back together. Both Jessica and JJ were pursuing their acting career in Los Angeles when they had the opportunity hang out because of a mutual friend. From there they became friends and fell in love.
The theme that they had for their wedding was “My Whole Heart for My Whole Life”. Their elegant vintage inspired wedding took place at the Santaluz Country Club in San Diego. Jessica wanted an vintage, elegant and romantic wedding infused with the down to earth textures of burlap and linen.
The ceremony was out on the lawn with a beautiful arch and side trellis adorned with a plethora of flowers in ivory and blush colors. The trellis was adorned in ivy with large blooms of blush florals. Guests arrived to a beautiful beverage station with fruit infused water and lemonade. They were given mason jars with grey and white straws. Each guest was handed a small hemp bag full of petals. Each bag was hand stamped with a custom logo for the couple’s wedding.
The reception was in a large tent that is located at Santaluz. The entire sides of the tent was completely draped in white organza. The couple also rented 3 large crystal chandeliers and had amber uplighting surrounding the tent. The tables were adorned with different types of linens by Wildflower Linens. Half the tables were in a french blue brocade linen with a white linen hemstitch napkin and the other tables in a white Russian linen and a Russian khaki napkin. Each guests had a menu inserted in the napkin with the couple’s logo on it and a plastic bookmark holder for their photobooth picture. Each plastic cover had baker’s string in white and grey tied to it with heart shaped cutout of poetry paper.

OMG i love this blog post so much! It is just absolutely gorgeous. Congrats to the photographer. Their edits and stylizing are just stunning. They took a great venue shot as well.
Jessica & JJ are the most adorable, sweet, and down to earth couple! I am so grateful to be able to work with a team of amazing vendors for this timeless and stunning wedding!
the photography is absolutely breathtaking! such a gorgeous wedding!
Stunning! In love with the gorgeous tent and the chandeliers!
From top to bottom, every detail of this wedding was AMAZING! I really enjoyed working with everyone on this. And LOVED LOVED LOVED JJ and Jess's musical choices - for the ceremony, I was joined by violinist Annette Rico and we busted out a tailor-made music set that included sung preludes of “Forever” by Ben Harper, “Love Never Fails You” by Brandon Heath. The parents were escorted in to an instrumental version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley (sounds amazing w/ just guitar and violin!!), the wedding party walked down to our instrumental version of “Hallelujah” by Jeff Buckley, then the bride was escorted in by her father to our instrumental version of “You With Me” by Lifehouse. At the end of the ceremony, Annette and I rocked out our version of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”. Super dope!! After the ceremony, I did a live cocktail hour w/ acoustic guitar and vocals, then switched over to DJ the rest of the party - and what a party it was!!! Thanks everyone for such a wonderful evening.
This just made my day!!! That's our wedding!!! My friend just text me to say that I was on style me pretty, and I leaped for joy! I kid you not, I looked at this site everyday when planning the wedding! It was SO much fun making all the little details and seeing it brought to life! All the vendors were amazing and truly made it the best day of mine and JJ's life!
And we are truly honored to be posted on Stylemepretty!
P.S. for Kathryn, the bridesmaid's dresses are from J.Crew (silk chiffon Cyndee dress in graphite).
Finally! I look at Style Me Pretty every single day to look at the Real Weddings...they are always so so beautiful. But today, with this post, I finally have found the PERFECT wedding! I have been looking for images based on ideas I have in my head, and this wedding tells it all. It's so beautiful and congrats to the happy couple!
Hello,
Absolutely adore you're wedding. Thank you for all the inspiration. One question - where did you get that cute ring cushion with the date embroidered on it?
Many thanks,
Alison
Hi Alison,
The ring pillow was from the store "giggleroom" on Etsy.com. And they even let me mail them the grey and white bakers twine (by "Divine Twine") to use for the bow, and I pale pink thread that match our color palette for the heart. ;)
“My Whole Heart for My Whole Life”....ludicrously beautiful photographs and an equally gorgeous sentiment! Congratulations xx
LOVE!!!! Studio Castillero are the most amazing photographers! They do gorgeous work and are awesome to work with!! What a beautiful wedding they shot!!!
WOW. Stunning...everything!
Stunning from start to finish - well done!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! These images are stunning. The couple is gorgeous and the sentiment and details were captured perfectly! Seriously, breathtaking. :)
love - love - love it!!! This is by far my favorite wedding featured on SMP. Everything is so perfect and beautiful. It is so whimsical, romantic-- just lovely. Fabulous style in every detail! Kudos on all of the planning! It looks amazing!!!
could the amazing bride or groom tell us where the men's suits are from? they are gorgeous as is the WHOLE wedding!
i die... THIS IS GORG!!!!!! And that mason jar + light pink and grey (Which is my wedding color too) and the flower on the napkin.... brought me to this argument I had with my fiance where I wanted to do mason jars for our outdoor wedding and he doesn't think it will go with the casual elegant (light pink, grey, lanterns) that I had picked........ THIS IS A LIVING PROOF that it all can go well together.............. Loveeee......................
okay and that hanging plates behind the cake.... :) so interior design magazine picture-inspired.. :)
Gorgeous. Everything about the wedding is WOW.
Just perfect!
Yay! People are way to sweet with all the wonderful comments! The grooms tux was from J. Crew and the groomsmen tuxes were rented from friar tux (we got a deal on them for one rental free and the rest for $85). The dessert plate wall was inspired by one of my favorite hotels, the Viceroy in Santa Monica - and I found all the plates at T.J. Maxx (there were around $2-$6 dollars. ;)
This wedding is so light, airy and dream-like. Gorgeous details and such a stunning bride!
This wedding is stunning-- the bride is SO beautiful, and the colors are lovely. And the photography! Studio Castillero, as a former-wedding-photographer-turned-lawyer in Chicago, I was blown away by your work. It's truly amazing-- fingers crossed I can convince you to travel to the wonderful Midwest for my future nuptials :)
