So often we get caught up in the pretty florals, or the gorgeous venue, or the bridesmaids, sweetly dressed and lined up in a row. And believe me, here at SMP, those little details are what get our hearts racing faster than a third cup of coffee. But this wedding, photographed by Hannah Photography, is more than just the beyond amazing design – from one of our favorites, Sapphire Celebrations – it’s the merging of two families into one. That in and of itself is such a beautiful thing. And of course, there are the pink springtime details that get our hearts going too. Double perfection. Dress purchased from Little White Dress – how cute is that name?
From Sapphire Celebrations … Kelly and Mark’s wedding this summer was more than just their becoming husband and wife, they were also committing to each other’s children – creating a family. Incorporating their three children into the wedding ceremony was important to them both.
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs was the perfect location for the intimate wedding ceremony and reception. Guests were treated to delicious cuisine butler passed and set up in action stations while enjoying the sounds of a jazz trio. Keeping the kids in mind, a special table was set up for them with an activity book, crayons and candy for each.
At the end of the night, guests were sent off with a special treat of milk and cookies.
