I think Jesi Haack Design deserves a standing ovation for this little Smog Shoppe number. No quirky (albeit completely amazing) stone was left unturned and the dress? All kinds of BANANAS. With so many unexpected details, it’s rather hard to pick a favorite but if we had to choose, it might just be the feather boa dessert table filled with lovely looking treats from Sweet and Saucy Shop. Genius! There is so much more where this came from courtesy of Mark Brooke Photographers so head over to the gallery and get your fill of all those pretty pink hues. Pssst…sit tight because we’ll be back in a wee bit with a buying guide to accompany this Los Angeles gem and it’s a FUN one.

From Jesi Haack Design…They wanted to represent BOTH of their cultures. So what else would we do other than Matryoshka dolls, paper fortune cookies, all wrapped up in a gradient pink hue? Duh! We brought in lots of fur in the table runners, and the ceremony aisle runner. The amazing Russian Matryoshka dolls stood at attention down the aisle as well, and witnessed the touching nuptials. We layered the place settings in four different shades of pink napkins. Adorned each setting with a fuchsia candy, showed the guests to their seats with a hand made paper fortune cookie, and backed the desserts with some feathers and glitter. It all just made for the most adorable, quirky, and incredibly personal wedding ever!

I'm Polish and using the nesting dolls is something I've thought about using for my wedding, too! How sweet. Where can I buy dolls like this?
I love the place cards... They have so much character! This looks like it must have been a fun wedding!
Love the shoes and the colour scheme! All that pink!
Love the escort cards & the boa backdrop! So fun
The "fortune cookies" are adorable! And I love those Japanese umbrellas... so cute!
Thanks so much for the feature!!! This was such a fun wedding!
The hanging umbrellas are great!
That venue gets me every time. Love this!
I knew these photos looked familiar, and when I read the blog post text I realized that's because Mark Brooke Photography is doing my wedding this August and I had seen these photos on their blog. We just had our engagement shoot done by Mark's wife, Candace, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They have such a wonderfully artistic eye. Worth every penny we paid.
Oh wow, so cute! And I LOVE the succulent wall!
I think Jesi Haack is such a talent! And I am in love with the Smog Shoppe every time I see it. Excellent job with all the wedding details!
Is there any info on the groom's suit? I'm looking for a tailored 3 piece grey suit for my fiance!!
always an honor to be on your blog! I hope it happens a million more times!!! Thank you!!!
loving the boa-backdrop behind the candy buffet! The hanging parasols are such a beautiful idea!
So glad you liked the parasols! First time I ever saw them hanging from the rafters - a great effect!
Jessica has done it again! And I love the pink fortune cookies!
I keep coming back to this post - such a rad wedding! I'm not even a fan of pink, but I'm definitely lovin' it here! Well done...
Stunning, Stunning, Stunning - just stunned - I am loving every last detail!
OMG such great styling! Love how so many unique decor peices i've ever seen done before, gorgeous!
Can I ask where you got those wooden benches for the ceremony? My fiance and I are looking for some for our outdoor wedding.
Too cute Jessi! Every time I think I have an original idea (nesting dolls!) you literally come out with it before me. You are just way too good :) Congrats!! xo
I love the bride's veil? Where it is from?
