From Ashley Gain Weddings: Love when pure, like Angela & Peter’s, is authentically organic and their wedding reflected just that. On a practically perfect October morning in Phoenix, Arizona the couple got married at Desert Botanical Garden. The ceremony was held outdoors in the Amphitheater. Guests sat in the built-in “theater” seating facing the arch where the couple said their vows. As a backdrop to the I dos was a cactus garden, an authentic reflection of the beautiful Sonoran Desert.
Angela and Peter wanted their guests to be a part of something more than just their wedding day, to them being a part of the Arizona landscape the place they were both born and raised was their inspiration. They wanted to reflect their natural love for each other in the place that felt so naturally “home” to their hearts.
The reception set in the indoor-meets-outdoor Binns Wildflower Pavillion welcomed in an open-air feeling with the majestic Papago buttes setting the scene in the background. The high ceiling pavilion surrounded guests giving them an intimate setting in the middle of the desert. Full of natural light this reception setting was the perfect way for the couple and their guests to take in an Arizona day. The succulents from the centerpieces on Angela & Peter’s day have since been planted in various guest’s pots around the country and growing strong. Now their perfect wedding flowers remind us every day how love can continue to grow!

I want a big fat piece of that bunt cake in my mouth right now.
LOVE her dress and that cake is divine looking :)
me too, Rachel, me tooo. Gorgeous succulents!
love it. those dusty yellow roses are amazing. I've been trying to find something that resembles gold without becoming orange, and that's the closest I've seen.
I've worked with the photographer, Diana Rothery, before and have to say I highly recommend her. I mean, look at these photos! They perfectly capture the day. Congrats to the bride and groom!
Beautifully done! Truly rustic chic

AMAZING, as always. Every event Ashley Gain touches turns to pure GOLD... she is hands down the best there is.
Love this!
I have seen Ashley's blog before too. She does great work all over the Phoenix area. Every event she does is so much different from the next. How can one person be so good at so many styles? I cant wait to see her featured again!
This cake looks so good. I also love the details of the bees, bears, and honey. Very rustic, yet very chic. Well Done!
I just love everything about this wedding. Her bouquet is exactly what I was trying to communicate to my florist. And I think I just decided to cancel my traditional cake and get tiered bundt cakes (with the succulents)!
Beautiful! I love the gold with the darker colors!
Love, Love, Loving that gown! Absolutely beautiful! And those succulents on the bundt cakes...what an interesting pair up! Gorgeous wedding!
that cake looks so tasty and is decorated beautifully

What a great way to use AZ for inspiration. I love all the cacti.
LOVE the little touches--it helped make this wedding so sweet and rustic. Gorgeous!
Ashley, what a beautiful job! You are truly amazing.
The vendors did a great job! But shouldn't this be about the couple since it was their wedding day? Congratulations, Angela and Peter! You have great taste. Have a beautiful life full of love and full of joy. all the very best...
Every event Ashley Gain coordinates is AMAZING! I can't wait to have her help with my wedding. ;)
What a beautiful wedding! Does anyone know where I can get those fab table numbers and seating chart display? Thanks!
Such a beautiful wedding, lovely styling. I love the veil and the cake looks gorgeous
@ Antonia: The table numbers were bought at Hobby Lobby and then spray-painted in an antique gold metallic. Most of the furniture (including the framed chalkboard) was bought at thrift/antique stores or borrowed from my mother's home. Thrift stores are full of budget-friendly tarnished silver bowls, little crystal glasses, etc...
It has a great antique vibe to the styling of this wedding, I love the gold and honey touches throughout and the area rugs next to the tables. Very pretty, inspiring and fun! Ashley Gain is the best!
I saw this early yesterday morning, as soon as it was posted. Very beautiful. Congrats to the couple for their phenomenal taste, and congrats to each of the vendors for giving the couple what they envisioned. To the couple: I hope it was very special for you, and may you have a fabulous, fabulous marriage!!!
@ Ange, thank you so much!
What incredible unique styling and venue! Beautifully and creatively done....
LOVE IT! the furniture and flowers were so pretty and where on earth did you find those gorgeous honey dispensers? stunning!
Amazing...this wedding puts AZ on the map! I'm so proud of my fellow natives for designing such a gorgeous wedding incorporating the natural beauty of Arizona. Your metallic and ecclectic details just popped against the botanical backdrop...truly jaw-dropping! Thanks for sharing!
@ Jess B - The honey jar drink dispensers came from Pier 1. The honey favors are from Really Raw Honey out of Seattle, WA. They will ship you the honey in those three ounce jars and then you may add your own embellishments. We added the sticker on top and thank you twine. If you would like to contact them, email reallyrawhoney@comcast.net.
Very beautiful wedding! Such a cool location :)
This is beautiful, I love it!! Ashley Gain, you are amazing!! :) Everything about it is spectacular!! I love the wedding cake, very unique!
