I have been searching and searching for just the right way to describe this next wedding and I am a little bit at a loss for words. I mean, how do you describe a wedding as insanely gorgeous as this one? I could say that the images captured by the uber-talented Vanessa Preziose of Apertura are stunning, but they are really beyond stunning. And I could mention that the floral design by Green Fresh Florals is so very romantic, but it is so much more than that. And those shoes. They aren’t just wow… They are WOW. It’s absolute perfection, I tell you. Absolute perfection. And I honestly can’t think of a better way to spend this wonderful Friday afternoon than perusing every last spectacular detail in the gallery.

From the Bride… One of my favorite parts of putting together the wedding was making all of the paper items, from designing the save the dates and invitations, to the programs and childhood photo polaroids. The photos were great, I knew early on I wanted to incorporate some photos of us as kids and spent months going through boxes and bugging relatives in order to collect them. I thought it would be fun to incorporate into the table seating, but needed a place to write guests’ names and wanted them to look like a set. After looking through tons of blogs and blending ideas we decided to make the photos look like polaroids, it was perfect!
Joel reads more than any person I’ve ever met. If he needs to run across the street to get something from the grocery store, it’s with a book – just in case there is a line. I’m a huge fan of vintage glamour. Once we saw the library with beautiful old books at the Darlington House, we knew that was the place we would get married. I wanted to incorporate some more book items into the wedding and keep with the vintage feel of the house, so we searched San Francisco for some cool looking old books and attached numbers for each of the tables. We also turned the ceremony programs into bookmarks.
