Australia Engagement Session by White Wall Photography

May 12th. 2011 by Emilia Jane | 4 comments

I think this is an adorable idea for an engagement shoot or even a day-after or anniversary session.  The cute-as-can-be couple joined one of my favorite Aussie photographers, White Wall Photography, for a dreamy, picnic filled with items inspired by their heritage.  The sweet and playful picnic was styled with origami hearts, fortune cookies, and other delicious looking goodies.  I can’t wait to see their wedding...

San Francisco Wedding by Dream A Little Dream Events

May 12th. 2011 by Emilia Jane | 14 comments

I am definitely feeling the organic modern vibe I get from this San Francisco beauty from What Shanni Saw and Dream A Little Dream Events!  It’s urban meets elegant meets natural and it’s all so fine.  I love the mercury glass vases filled with succulents, ferns, hydrangea and tulips scattered across the long feasting tables.  And...

Fort Worth Photo Shoot by McGowan Images + megBdesign

May 12th. 2011 by A. Blaire | 13 comments

As a little girl The Secret Garden was one of my all time favorite stories. How can you go wrong with a story about little girl, wandering in around an English manor, finding a magical garden and then bringing it all to life? Such my cup of tea. So you better believe the little girl in me was all sorts of excited when this beauty from McGowan Images and megBdesign graced my...

Italy Wedding by MIMMO & NAZ

May 12th. 2011 by Aimée | 13 comments

Sadly, I’ve never been to Italy. The closest I’ve been is Spain, so I’m not claiming to be an expert on Italian weddings or anything. But I’m pretty sure all you amateurs and pros alike will agree with me that these images from MIMMO & NAZ are the epitome of Italian romance! The amazingly ancient church, the tiny crooked streets, the vistas for days…yup. It’s all here. Get cozy with your coffee...

Of course there will be oodles and oodles of real weddings right in your backyard, but we’ll also get to highlight some of the things that really make us all go WOW. Take for instance these besties that both happen to be uber taented – Jen of...

Black, white and yellow is still a color palette that is going strong as we saw from yesterday’s weddingAlexi Shields and this team of talented Palm Beach vendors put together inspiration to show another way of using this bold, modern trio of hues.  It’s always interesting to me how a...

Mexico Wedding by Kate Triano Photography

May 11th. 2011 by Emilia Jane | 17 comments

Growing up I wouldn’t have been caught dead wearing pink but somehow, over the years, I’ve grown quite fond of this romantic hue.  Each shade can give off a totally different vibe and tell a totally different story. I love the bold, sexy look of fuchsia so you know I was all about this destination wedding in Mexico photographed by Kate Triano Photography.  The pops of hot pink transform the space into a super fun and...

Minnesota Wedding by Matt Lien

May 11th. 2011 by Aimée | 18 comments

This next wedding is especially for all you out-doorsy kinda ladies out there. It’s the idyllic setting in the woods, by a lake, in a lodge and Matt Lien did such an amazing job capturing the essence of this wedding that I can smell the pine needles from here! I’m loving all the rustic goodness from the wood tables topped with lace to the antique rocking chairs.

Virginia Wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek

May 11th. 2011 by A. Blaire | 15 comments

Ladies and gents, the groom of this Virginia wedding is a certified keeper with a capital K. Actually let’s just hit the caps lock key and make him an all caps KEEPER because that would be fitting for this gem of a groom. This little post just happens to be a surprise to the SMP loving bride (surprise!!) and was submitted by her loving hubby because he knew just how much she adored the site. Well, I just adore this winter wedding and all of its well thought out details, but I am a...

Monterey County Wedding by Danielle Capito Photography

May 11th. 2011 by Emilia Jane | 28 comments

The way this bride and groom transformed this barn along California’s central coast is outstanding.  They were lucky enough to have friends with such a spectacular space but wanted to add a little more to create their perfect venue.  By building a reclaimed wood wall to hang gilded frames and mirrors behind the head table, crafting an enormous chandelier with mason jars and bringing in loads of vintage pieces they were able to bring their rustic yet elegant dream to life. ...
