New York Wedding Blog Spotlight

We just love our local blogs. So much so that we decided to mix things up a bit this morning and give you a glimpse into the amazingness that is our New York wedding blog. This photo shoot proves that DIY can be urban chic and sophisticated. Yes, my dears, DIY no longer means mason jars and wild flowers in a barn. You can be a city slicker and still get your DIY on. We’re loving the crisp stripes and oversized balloons in lieu of flowers, but who wouldn’t? And the fresh fun doesn’t stop here, no siree! There are hip, never been seen before weddings going up every day in California, Texas, Florida, and on our Destination blog. So go ahead, go local. All the cool kids are doing it!

And don’t fret just yet if you don’t see your state in the local line-up because SMP is headed to a neighborhood near you in the oh-so-close future! So be sure to stay tuned for the next list of local blogs…

   I love the decor and the balloons. I hope the photog captured some reflections of the bride and groom in the balloons. Would love to see an image like that. Black and Red are my favorite color combos. Thanks, Karen

   Fantastic table decor arrangements. Effort of the photographer to catch the reflections on the balloon is so cool. Really beautiful picture.
