From Picsee Studio … We adore this bride and groom! We fell in love with them from the very beginning and still get teary eyed when we go back through their wedding images. Brandi is a school teacher and is super crafty. She is used to doing a lot of DIY projects for her classroom and that spilled right into her wedding details.

The ceremony and reception both took place at the Allandale Mansion – a historic home converted into a public venue – and every detail was festive and fall inspired. The “first meet” was beautiful, the ceremony was unbelievablely emotional, and the reception afterwards was a happy blur of cake, dancing, bubbly, and laughter. Everybody had a fantastic time, and the BIG love these two share simply overflows when they’re together.

I met Tony in a college class. He was a real, down to earth, feed the cows before class, cowboy.  After going for a ride in his farm truck, I knew it was love. Who could ask for more?

For us, being outside with our dogs enjoying the fall is our favorite. Getting married outside in Tennessee’s amazing autumn weather was obviously an easy choice! Other than an outdoor wedding, lace dress, and cowboy boots, we were up for just about anything.

We wanted a laid back feeling for our guests. I am such a fan of creative DIY work, so I searched and searched the net for inspiration. I have to say, my guest book/tree was by far my favorite idea of the wedding. After choosing my ivory Jim Hjelm dress (which I had them alter a bit), Corral boots, and handmade jewelry, I was set.

My sister-in-law is still in disbelief at me; cool and calm under pressure on my wedding day. I was so excited to be married, that I didn’t really care about most everything else. Well, other than food! Our awesome caterer made us a basket full of our favorite picks. We had a midnight picnic in our hotel room.

The weather was perfect, my make-up was still shine free by aisle time, and the groom was amazing….what more could you ask for?

Beautiful beatiful wedding. Absolutely love the note tree. I was wondering what exactly was used for the bubbles? Im thinking of doing that at my own wedding!

  3. Kim says:

where is the dress from. Stunning!

  4. Mallory says:

@Lauren, The bubbles came from little white bottles of bubbles. The crowd started blowing them way before the couple got there so that there were lots of them when they walked through. So pretty, right?

@Kim - we're looking into the dress for you. It's very pretty, isn't it?

  5. Julie says:

Simply elegant! Where is the groom's wedding band from...my fiance would love that!

  6. Mallory says:

@Julie, isn't it great? I'll check on the ring for you!

  7. eveo says:

Gorgeous in every way! Where is the bride's hair piece from?

  8. Hannah says:

I'm on here everyday, so many fantabulous weddings to drool over, but I hardly ever make myself comment. This however, I must say touched my heart. I loved how she was crying down the aisle... I wish I did! I can see that they just had an floaty, splendidly casual lovey day and doing it easy like that has got to be the ultimate. Congrats guys, you're beautiful.

  9. andrea says:

Love the bubbles! I am going to have bubbles and I hope we can get an amazing picture like they did! Congrats!

  10. andrea says:

oh and I love the grooms band too - my future hubby will have a similar ring :) we are getting his ring at e-wedding bands - beveled edge with a brushed finish, not sure if that's exactly what this groom had but similar looks! :)

  11. Jessica Puckett says:

Brandi is my beautiful younger cousin, and I am so proud of her. Her and Tony have the kind of love that fairy tales are based on. It was truly an honor for my family & I to be included in their wedding. Everything was perfect, down to the weather for the event. The family tree was one of my favorite touches. They had a "tree" made with some favorite photos from Brandi and her family, and Tony & his family. The photos were from their childhood up into their adult life when they met. Another special detail, and my favorite, was the Saint Jude's donation box in memory of my brother who passed away in 2005. Brandi & Tony made their own donation as well & received bookmarks that were given as part of the wedding favors. It was a wonderful way to honor the memory of a loved one. We are much closer than cousin's normally are, and this made Brandi feel as though she was including him in the wedding.I don't think that anyone who attended escaped without at least tearing up during the ceremony. I went through a whole package of Kleenex!

  12. Jessica Puckett says:

    By the way:

LAUREN: The bubbles came from the Dollar tree, where you can get several in a package for only 1.00! They already come in pretty white bottles. You can dress the bottles up even more by adding some ribbon and bows, or a pretty label on the bottle with the date & names.

JULIE: They ordered the band from Amazon.com

KIM and EVEO: The dress and hair piece came from the same shop in Charlotte, North Carolina, but I don't know the name of it!

  13. sarah says:

just beautiful! i love everything about this!

  14. C says:

both rings can be purchased at bluenile.com, I have the same ones and LOVE them!

  15. The Bride says:

Thank you for all the nice comments! They are very much appreciated! We planned to splurge on amazing photography first and foremost, and then my dress. With most everything else, we tried to be as thrifty as possible. Tony's ring is from Amazon. We ordered it for only $30!! It was certified, just in case. Turns out it was a great purchase..."Certified" Tungsten (Comfort Fit). Seeing that Tony cannot wear a band to work, it was perfect for us. "C" posted that you can find my ring at www.bluenile.com. I looked, and you can (though Tony did not purchase mine there)!!! My dress is from NY Bride and Groom in Charlotte, NC. For your viewing pleasure... http://www.nybride.com/ . My headpiece is also from their boutique. They were great to work with and I would highly suggest them. Let's see...oh yeah! The BUBBLES! I had another idea, but it was not permitted at my venue, so I decided to go with bubbles. Being a teacher, I'm at the Dollar Tree at least once a week lol...so I picked up the bubbles there and dressed them up with raffia. Like it says in my post, Tony and I were so excited about being together and having an awesome, laid back day. We didn't make a fuss over the details. Jessica mentioned our family trees above...they were an awesome addition to the wedding. It was a great way to include our families in the day. We posted pictures on fall colored card stock and hung them with ribbon from two separate trees. I'm so excited to be included on such an awesome blog as this. THANKS AGAIN! Awesome Forevers to all of you!
