We’re so excited to share yet another beautiful wedding sent to us from Altura Studio today. Two in one day, doesn’t get much better than that. This colorful Cambodian wedding is completely different from our first Altura wedding of the day, but it is equally as fabulous. This adorable couple pulled off three bright ceremonies in one day – including one in the rain. There is so much to see from this day long celebration, there was no way we could do it justice! So DO make sure you spend time checking out each incredible detail in the gallery. THEN … check out Altura’s blog for even more special details!

From Theresa of Altura Studio … For most couples planning one wedding is challenging enough. Consider Syna and Luan, who planned and carried out no less than three wedding ceremonies in one very long day.
Syna and her girls started their hair and makeup well before the sun was even up. Luan and his family arrived at Syna’s home, carrying traditional gifts, bright and early in the morning. At Syna’s family home, the Cambodian rituals included the monk’s blessing and a hand tying ceremony in which Syna’s and Luan’s wrists were bound with a string. One by one, family and friends added knots to these strings along with their well-wishes.
Luan’s house was the next stop of this epic day for Vietnamese wedding rituals including a tea ceremony. And then, to cap things off, an American style ceremony outdoors under a sudden surprise downpour. Everyone was drenched but smiling. Married in three different ways, Luan and Syna danced all night at their evening ballroom reception.
What was our brides favorite part of the day? … Surprisingly, my favorite part of the day now, was the worst part then. The outside western ceremony (when we got drenched) is the most romantic part of our wedding. I look back on all the pictures and videos and even though it was pouring down rain, we were still so happy we were finally becoming husband and wife.

How absolutely beautiful and unique.
Just beautiful! I love all the bright colors.
What designer made the shoes??
So beautiful!! I vote for more diverse weddings on SMP!! This is so special and unique. I love the vibrant colors! The florals are GORGEOUS! :)
lovely to see Vietnamese traditions featured on here (We plan weddings in Vietnam). so beautiful are celebrations of love when the meeting of different cultures is accentuated in the details!
Amazing Wedding story. I can imagine how stressed the bride was the days before the wedding. I love her wedding dress, it is gorgeous. I think what they did is wonderful, to be married in three different ways all in the same day. I bet the bride and groom were exhausted.
Who made the shoes?? And the hair accessory?
Gorgeous!
These pictures are wonderful of "The adorable couple" as mentioned by the author. We did not attend the family ceremonies; but were fortunate to be at the reception last fall; which my wife and I both agree to be the most fun we have ever had at a wedding.
Thank you, so much for taking the time out and responding to our wedding... we appreciate all the kind words! To answer a couple inquiries, I purchased the shoes from Nordstrom and they are Enzo Angiolini. My hair piece was my "something borrowed" from one of my closest friends and bridesmaid, if I remember correctly, I think she said she made it herself. I hope this helps! Again, THANK YOU!
