This is the party that can’t stop, won’t stop! After the sweet and serene wedding, guests ventured down the rabbit hole into something completely different! A psychedelic, Willa Wonka-meets-Alice in Wonderland after party where they got their sugar rush and their dance party on! Candy around every corner, vibrant lounge areas and, my favorite little touch, sparkly Toms for the guests to don before dancing, turned this already magical weekend into an out-of-this-world extravaganza! Aaron Delesie, Lisa Vorce and Mindy Rice definitely knocked it out of the park and raised the bar with this one. If you’re like me and you want to live vicariously through these lucky guests then check out the full gallery for even more!

From Lisa Vorce… Bailey and Pete wanted a “Willy-Wonka-meets-Alice-in-Wonderland” vibe. How’s that for a theme? A blast for us! Barker Decor put in almost 2000 square feet of high gloss white flooring and built two 12 foot candy walls. We flew in 3000 bedazzled bonbons, an entire van small truck full of candy, and over 1500 macaroons. Pure heaven. Behind the main bar we had a 12′ high gloss lime manzanita tree that Mindy treated with oversized colorful florals. Mindy also created playful “forest” vignettes throughout the room with oversized colorful mushrooms, grass squirrel topiaries, and flats of grass. The entire tent was draped in a vibrant apple green color, and then we color blocked the 4 corners of the tent, so each corner had its own color themed lounge.
We truly had a blast on this event, and adore Bailey and Pete (and their amazing families!). We’re looking forward to creating an extraordinary vow renewal party for them in a a few years…(hint, hint…Bailey and Pete!).

@Jamie@See you there. Diddo. lol.
So amazing...all of it!!!
Thank you to everyone who appreciated our wedding. It was a joyous event for my wife and I, and, by sharing it with everyone, we hoped to inspire others by celebrating the amazing hard work of some very talented people that went into our once in a lifetime occasion.
Either way, I don't feel the need to comment on those who only saw this for what it cost as they totally missed what a truly blessed event this was for our closest family and friends. But I would caution those who so freely put their criticisms out there that just because this is the internet does not mean standards of kindness and etiquette don't apply. This was someone's wedding, a deeply meaningful and personal event and if it isn't for you then you are free to move along and visit another site.
OMG. I actually was going to comment and blast these photos but when i looked more there is a continuity to them. Bold and very daring but awesome none the less, not the boring colours some people go for. Good work.
What a great party - I really love the idea! But I have to ask, where was the gold dress from?
Oh wow, wow, wow! I am loving that dress! and the sweets, and the fun atmosphere... everything! I want my next party to be like this!
haha how fun!! love it! :D
WOW - where's the chocolate fountain??? lol x
Well said, Peter! As someone that looks at weddings day in and day out (literally thousands upon thousands), I am OBSESSED with this entire affair. I wish my life was this cool. I am so impressed with all of the spunk and personality (especially the gold dress...I could die for the gold dress) and I love having a wedding that really spices things up here on SMP. Beyond well done. Beyond.
This entire series has been such a treat to live through in the pictures. Congratulations Bailey and Peter on a gorgeous wedding weekend. I love seeing couples who are so bold and daring with color and style, the infusion of personality is at its peak! Bravo.
I absolutely ADORE this whole event. I love that it was filled to the brim with personality and fun. Thank you Bailey and Peter for sharing your beautiful, playful, and down right awesome day with us.
Looking again at the wonderful photos on SMP of Bailey and Pete's wedding last fall brings back memories of how amazing it was to work with a couple who were so supportive and appreciative of the energy that everyone, including the two of them, put into this perfect day of celebration. My staff STILL talks about the positive feelings everyone had about this couple; from their family and guests to the extended staff. Their generosity of spirit was pervasive and appreciated by all who worked on or attended the event! I second what Pete said above ......it IS always so nice to read the comments of those who can appreciate what has been shared!
xo Mindy
