The Beatles said it best. All you need is love. And this lavish Mad Men inspired shoot IS all I need to love. The talented team at Studio B Event Designs joined forces with a pretty incredible team of wedding pro’s, including Stephanie J Designs who was the mastermind behind all the great paper products, and Tinywater Photography who gave us some fabulous yellow images. This bright and fun palette definitely provides lots of fun inspiration for those of you looking to add a little sunshine to your event. Studio B has great ideas for ANY color palette on their blog – so don’t forget to pop over there!

From Studio B Event Designs … Lavish & Fabulous was created by Fearon May Events and Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa in Association with Real Weddings Magazine to take bridal shows to the next level by showcasing all of the vendors in themed vignette table top designs. The best professionals in the area are personally invited to participate in the show. The goal was to create a boutique style soiree that allows couples to find wedding resources in a high-end, modern and fun environment.
This space was inspired by AMC’s Mad Men. The design for this room started with the daisy chandelier, which Fearon May Events found at Ikea. The theme just took off from there. Combining the fab era’s of the 50′s, 60′s and a twist of the 2010 into one amazing retro chic vignette.

Totally amazing! Great headpiece, and FANTASTIC makeup/11
Yes, makeup. Fabbbb-u-lussss. I love the whimsical skew the yellow + flower arrangements give to the entire party.
Love this!
So 1940's with a modern twist!! My wedding is also 1940's ish theme...I'm having trouble finding the right jewlery and shoes! I'm loving the necklace the bride is wearing.. could you tell me where it's from?!
Thank you!
I love this. Black & yellow are my favorite! So bold and fun!
So bright and sunny! Love this!
Fun and vibrant! yellow always plays a protagonic role, boosts my mood way up high!
I pretty much love everything about this... especially the makeup!
Beautiful! Now that is yellow!
Hello,
I styled and created the over all look for this wedding. I also work with Studio B Event Designs but Fearon May Events was the lead designer for this shoot. The necklace came from Miosa Couture along with the dress and hair piece. This was a part of an event that we did last year. You can see more pictures at www.lavishandfabulous.com
My staff and I were so proud to be the floral designers on this project! Fear May Events does an amazing job! The whole team was a dream to work with. The floral L-O-V-E letters have been very inspirational to our clients and we have had fun implementing them in a variety of different ways. Thanks, Fearon, for inviting us to be part of the team.
Ohhhhh spellchecker!! That 's "Fearon May Events"....not Fear May Events. LOL!
Pretty pretty ... LOVE the yellow! Great work all. :-)
Love the yellow daisies and tulips -- bright and cheery! Overall excellent use of yellow to create a festive and happy scene.
I love the pool in the background....A swimming pool would make a great background for engagements!!!
