Vintage amber, honey and wheat – sounds like a delicious color palette if you ask me, and it produced the most drool-worthy Louisiana wedding for you to devour this lovely Wednesday. Catherine Guidry was there to capture all the sweetness and the personal details told their story seamlessly. But don’t forget, this is just a smidgen of the deliciousness – there is even more in the full gallery.

From Catherine Guidry… Kelly’s nostalgic vision and quirky personality left the venue filled with a natural palette of colors like Vintage Amber, Honey, & Wheat; sentimental family heirlooms; and timeless photographs strung together to tell the story. Her life is filled with silk screening and furniture building and became very influential for her wedding day. There were hints of the Jason and Kelly in every detail, and sprinkles of Kelly’s distinct artistic vision in every corner of the venue.

I LOVE those cake toppers! Where are they from?
The bouquets are lovely! Are they hydrangeas?
Love the birds and the macarons....the old photographs strung up is a beautiful touch! Lovely wedding.
Love this!! What gorgeous colours, amazing photos. Love the macarons!
I'm wondering the same! The bouquets and the yellow flowers in the mason jar? All they all just yellow yellow/honey hydrangeas??? Love the color!
The earthy colors of this wedding are so pretty.
I would love to know what flowers those are as well, they are gorgeous!
Catherine! Nice work Lady!! This is an amazing wedding and I hope to follow you one day. =) xo
Where did you get the stand that the macaroons are on? Would be willing to re-sell it to me?
Yay! A Louisiana wedding! Those bouquets are something else.
I love the macaroon stand! Great colors! Very warm and comforting.
I would like to know where the macaroon stand is from. Also, is the Wedding Tree a print you can order or is it drawn free hand?
Thanks for such beautiful images!

Beautiful! Does anyone know where the little birds on top of the cake came from?
Love the shoes! Where are they from????
Love Love Love...
I would also like to know where the little birds came from.
Thank you all for such kind words about our wedding, we sure enjoyed it!. I tried to answer some of your questions with the information below:
The macaroon stand, cake toppers, and all the decor were flea market finds while the thumbprint tree , although similar ones can be found on www.etsy.com, was drawn by my sister and me and then the text we screen printed on. The bouquets were fresh mango hydrangeas while the the ones in the jars were dried then died a vintage yellow. My dress is from Jcrew.com and my sash and boutonnieres were from Emersonmade.com. I made the deserts while a family friend made our cake.
Thanks Catherine for all your hard work and for capturing our wedding in such a unique way!
