Here we go with another stunner from Flory Photo! This creative San Francisco couple keenly incorporated details into the decor that complimented the natural elements found in and around their distinctive venue – the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park. They probably weren’t banking on water being one of those elements but a little rain did not deter them from making the most of their surroundings and having a spectacular party! Swing on by the full gallery for more from this modern fête!

Scott and Christine were married on a stormy day in October at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and when we were left with limited time and locations indoors that we could take pictures I improvised and came up with one of my all time favorite portraits. Christine looked absolutely gorgeous and Scott wasn’t too shabby either in his Ted Baker suit. Grace Street Catering did a great job with the food and the cocktail hour was amazing in the glass tower over looking all of San Francisco.

Love your table numbers--I've found a vendor on etsy who does something similar, but would you mind sharing yours, and the font? (And, the rest of your wedding is gorgeous--love that contemporary palette and your colors!!) Thanks much!! Barbara
Great photographs! The deYoung is one of our favorite venues.
love the vintage keys here!
love the vintage keys and love the pish posh feel of it all!
This wedding is beautiful! I love the table numbers, would you mind sharing where you got them from? Thanks!
Would love to know about the table numbers too!
Love it! Great photographer (I think a really great photographer should absolutely know how to improvise) and pictures! Love the brides dress (her shoes go so well)!
these photographs are beautiful not just despite the rain, but almost because of the rain! Such a great job capturing the mood and the interiors.
I LOVE the groom's socks!!!!!
the flowers are divine! also love the colors!
Glad the table numbers are a hit, we worked hard on them! I had access to 24 oz sheet copper and an automated plasma cutter through work. The numbers were enlarged to be 10" tall in Times New Roman font. Then we cut some 4"x4"x1.5" bases out of heavy pine, spray painted them dark brown and soldered each number onto a 5" copper 'stem' to make them look as if they were floating above the stands. Lots of help from my dad! We were pleased with the final product and thought they fit well with the other modern/ industrial elements.
