What an amazing idea. My brides will love this! :)
This is awesome news!
wow - this is just awesome! what a great tool! and the fact that you can "walk around" SMP and get images that way instead from the image gallery - so slick! congrats!
Genius!!! Wow, wow, wow! I love it!
This is amazing - can't wait to get started and redo my inspiration board!!!! LOVE!
Love this and am so excited about building new boards, but are we still able to upload our own images? I really liked the feature from the board board-building tool so I can add my own bride's maids' dresses, etc.
Congratulations! This is an awesome feature.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing such a great tool!
Love the new Dashboard feature. Dislike that all my old boards have vanished from my profile. tear!!! Are they there somewhere? :(
My old boards have disappeared :( And I like the new search feature and the search by color but I wish the colors were like "pink", "green", etc and not different shades. And I cannot believe I use typical search terms and get no returns.
I love playing around with images that inspire me. I can't wait to try this new feature out!
For those of you who like me, panicked that all of your boards (and blog!!) were gone, I found mine in the Circle....

Hope this helps!!! Now I'm excited. :)
Hey Margaret, you can upload photos to the board builder by simply dragging and dropping images from your computer directly to cells of the board builder. If you are using images you don't own make sure you have permission to use those images (providing credits is a good idea too).
Jenna and Neesha, Your old boards still exist. Logging into www.stylemepretty.com no longer takes you to the Style Circle (i.e. circle.stylemepretty.com). Style Me Pretty and the Style Circle no longer share logins. You can still build boards the old way on the Style Circle. To login to your Style Circle acount go to http://circle.stylemepretty.com/wp-login.php or use the login in the top right hand corner of http://circle.stylemepretty.com . I realize this is confusing. We'll work hard to make it less so.
Neesha, in regards to the "typical search terms" the search box will take any tag, category or subject assigned to any image in our galleries. (See the right sidebar of http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/ ). It will also take the names of designers in our look books. If you don't like using the search box you can navigate to any page on Style Me Pretty and click the "Board a Board" button. This button will attempt to pull up images associated with the page you are currently viewing. You can return to the board you were building. Thanks for the feedback on the colors wheel. Maybe we'll figure out a way to pull up a range of color values.
Brilliant. Seriously!
I love that I have an inspiration blog which I admire that I can reference my brides to. The ideas they hopefully take with them will increase the visual aspects for when I photograph their wedding. What's even more wonderful is that you make me look cool for being able to recommend such an amazing, awesome, and unique blog.
Thanks so much for always looking for new ways to add features and benefits for your readers.
huge hug
This is fantastic, I've had a go myself and its so much fun!
I am excited to try your new board builder! Am not able to drag and drop photos from my desktop (I did watch the tutorial) like was instructed. Any tips?
I find it unfortunate that I cannot use the pictures that I added to My Favorites.
You only get the first 10 or so to appear...
So now I have to find all the images again using search words.
And all the images I have added to My Favorites do not show up on my account in the Style Circle, so I cannot make them the old way any more... Too bad.
I find it harder to find the exact image I wanted to use...
Other then that, I like it!
Ditto on not being able to drag and drop...any resolution to this?
I am so excited to use this ever so useful tool! Thank you for making this possible.
Hey Vicki,
You can use images you added to your favorites. Just type "favorites" into the search bar -or- navigate to your favorites page and click the "build a board" button.
chrissann,
You can drag and drop images directly onto the cells of the board. However, drag and drop is not supported in IE. Still, it works great in Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
You do need to be logged in to drag and drop images onto a board.
