Garden parties were born to be in England. They are like peanut butter and jelly, those two, and this pretty number photographed by Tamara Kuzminski is an English garden fete done so, so right. The lovely hats, the pretty tea cups, the green rolling hills…we’ll take it all! See more of this wedding from across the pond in the gallery.

Poppy and Mark had their wedding reception in the garden of Poppy’s childhood home in rural Oxfordshire, England. The family home is a beautiful old building. And I mean REALLY old. It was even mentioned in the Doomsday book (that’s almost a thousand years ago!) Poppy’s mother had been working really hard in the garden for months, to make sure that it was gorgeous and colourful on their big day. And it did look totally stunning. So many people commented on it and all the hard work that must have gone into it (and also mentioned that if Poppy’s mum is available, there are several guests’ gardens who are now seeking her as a gardener!)
The couple’s two dogs weren’t forgotten on the day either, and joined in the celebration in the village church (they were extremely well behaved!) where Mark’s brother also played the piano and his sister played the saxophone while the register was being signed.

There's just something about a English wedding!! Where o where did she get the "Love" tree hanging thingy!
Beautiful! I love how the bridesmaid dress were three shades of green.
Really fun and lovely!
The hats! The cars! The tea cups! It all makes for a perfectly sophisticated English wedding.
Haha, this is exactly how I would imagine an English wedding to be. It looks beautiful, very prim & proper. Not wile and loud like it would be in New Jersey! Wonderful portrayal.
Congrats Tamara on the feature and absolutely beautiful photos!!
Beautiful dress! Just breathtaking!

Gabrielle,
I believe the cars all belonged to family friends and the bride's father. Sorry.
Tamara
Bk Bride - I asked Poppy about the hanging Love sign, and she said that it was something that the caterer brought with them.
Thanks, Tamara
Beautiful detail work!
